While Priyanka Chopra seems in no hurry to tie the knot, her younger brother Siddharth Choprais on his way to wedded bliss. Siddharth got engaged to Kanika Mathur, his sweetheart of the past three years, in a traditional Roka ceremony held in Delhi.
The ceremony, the first one which leads up to a wedding, is traditionally an announcement that the boy and the girl are off the market. A source close to the Chopra family told TOI, "They have been in a relationship for some time now and were keen to settle down. The wedding is likely to take place next year."
But why hold the ceremony in Delhi, we asked? "Both the families wanted a low key private affair away from the hustle bustle of Bollywood, so Delhi was The Choice," said the source. Siddharth who is seven years younger than his sister is a hospitality industry professional after training as a chef in Switzerland.
