W r i t t e n U p d a t e The arrows continue targetting Jalal and Jodha.Soon enough,the Mughal army starts firing at the tribal archers.
Jalal didn't let even a single arrow hurt Jodha. His hand firmly protecting his wife. He decides to take matter into his own hands, holding Jodha's hand firmly,he tells her to stay put.Picking up the oar,he rows the boat,so that they can get out of the waterbody as soon as possible.
Cut to,they reach their camp.Adka saahab is angry at his soldiers.Despite of so much protection, how did the enemies attack,he questions.Jalal arrives at the spot and tells them, that he wishes to keep this matter a secret. He expressed a desire to speak to Adka saahab in private. Jalal had this one particular logic. No enemy would be stupid enough to attack, when he knew of the Mughal army strength at the time, unless they knew of some 'inside news'.
Jalal sighted bagawat,he feared a certain 'apna' was only responsible for the attack. He orders Adka saahab to try and find out more on the issue, without letting know anyone.
Meanwhile,Adham and Shareefuddin are discussing the attack.Shareef warns Adham over and over again, not to take decisions at the heat of the moment,it could get them into trouble. Jalal, being the intellectual one, would definitely sense some 'insider work' in the attack. Adham, bein the ignorant arrogant man, doesn't pay heed at all.
Its night time now,Jalal is resting in his tent.Jodha arrives there,as Jalal wonders what she was doing there. He taunts her, stating she has entered the wrong tent đ Jodha replies with a no,saying she knew where she was.
She then says, she would be staying here for the night.Jalal who had been laying down on his bed, stands up now, seeming delighted by his wife's changing colours đ He tells her that this was the first time, somebody was giving him,the emperor, orders đ
Jodha tells him, that she wouldn't leave even if he asked her to,because Hamida had told her to...Before she could complete her sentence,Jalal says, ofcourse and you couldn't hurt her, saying no,could she? đ
He then tells her that he had absolutely no problem with her staying in his tent. She was very much welcomed.Jodha quickly sensing that he would offer her the bed, that she would sleep on the sofa.Jalal firmly says no.It would hurt her very dear ammi jaan if she got to know he had not offered her the bed. Jodha refuses. Jalal finally budges and says that he wasn't going to waste time debating with her,he was, afterall tired after saving a certain lady's life, over and over againđ
He then goes and sleeps in the bed.He was very much aware that she would come to the bed soon.Jodha recalls all the times he had saved his lives. She finally decides to accept his offer to sleep in the bed.Jalal had his eyes closed, with very light steps, she walks to the bed and lays down.Jalal sees her through the corner of his eye and smiles to himself. He blows of the light in the lanterns. Jodha's heart starts beating fast, thinking about what he would do now.He simply goes back to sleep. đ
Cut to,Amer. The Mughal clan receives a grand welcome in the Amer palace.Menavati welcomes her son-in-law with the traditional arathi. She then offers prasad to Jodha and then Jalal. Jodha consumes it in the typical hindu way,Jalal on the other hand, carefully observes the technique(ritual,a more appropriate word đ) and then does the same.
They then walk inside.Menavati very expectantly greets Jodha, but Jodha simply walks away and chooses to mingle with her sisters.Menavati is deeply hurt, she realises that Jodha was still angry.
Jodha comes to her chamber, the same old one.She becomes nostalgic and sheds a few tears.Just then,Menavati enters and tries talking to her.Though Jodha was dieing to talk to her mother, her ego didn't let her.Teary eyed she was,but she didn't budge. She simply looks away.
Menavati tries explaining to her, that what she did was for her own good.If she had agreed to take Jodha along with her,it would have broken her relationship with Jalal, for good. How could a mother ruin her own daughter's marriage?
Jodha finally gives in and hugs her mother, whom she had very much missed. The sisters arrive soon at the spot and share some sisterly love.
Meanwhile,Jalal,Bhagwan Das and a few ministers are in front of the lunch hall.Bhagwan Das tells him that they would be a few servants to tend to Jalal all the time, since he hadn't completely recovered. Jalal gives a warm smile and assures him that his health was fine.
Bhagwan,on that note, asks him if he would like to take a tour of the Amer Palace. Jalal very enthusiastically replies with a yes. Maham intervenes and says that he shouldn't go out in the open, his life was in danger.Jalal, very politely shuts her up,by saying that,he need not fear,as long as Amer's brave warriors were with him. They had proved their valour in the war against Ratan Singh and his kingdom. Jodha's brothers are very pleased with the support Jalal showed them.
They then go on a tour,Jalal is amazed by the beauty of the palace. He says that, during his wedding, which was an affair done in a hurry,he didn't get the opportunity to admire this piece of architectural brilliance. He was glad he had done that now atleast.
Meanwhile,Pratap arrives at the palace. As Bhaarmal welcomes him,Pratap left no opportunity to taunt him. Despite that,Bhaarmal, welcomes him with opened arms.
Jalal's tour is now at a certain balcony, whose view could see the entire palace. He notices a temple,he asks Bhagwan,if it was the same temple, which connected to the waterbody involved in the Gangaur festival. (ofcourse he does!He had breached the border, remember? đ) Bhagwan is very impressed by Jalal's knowledge of Amer.
Bhaarmal and Pratap are moving towards the guest house. Bhaarmal and Bhagwan feared these two coming face to face and the aftermath. As they say "jiska darr tha, wahi hua" đ
Pratap and Jalal come face-to-face.As Pratap stays expressionless,Jalal gives his signature smirk đł
precap : Jodha and Jalal are all alone.Jalal is shirtless,as Jodha applies her special 'medicine' on his back âşď¸
