I liked that they had a mature conversation too. That one scrub was better than all the teenage nonsense since June. Both characters have only just realized how catastrophic that one mistake could possibly become for both of them and honestly they both deserve it - asad for being a regressive ass and zoya for allowing herself to become a man's plaything.

Ayaan will be the one who reunites them but will it cost him Nikhat's happiness and his mother's sanity or both?

Yes, Di the best part indeed was that they communicated and how! In how many television shows do we see couples having a heart to heart conversation like that! Kudos to the writers for penning down such a brilliant scene.

It is the same thing over and over again, this will be another force situation in which no one is happy.

they needs to be some movement here, Asad and Zoya promising to be with each other and doing nothing to remedy this situation.

It is time for Zoya to stand up for herself and fight her own battle, stop giving in to pressure.
