Yes I guess it's because EK has to work carefully with the characterisation of a real historical figure that she is not messing up. Like you said, she has to be careful with Maharana Pratap - him being an important part of our history and also because of Sony's show too. This is my first historical so I'm enjoying the depiction of history which EK has handled surprisingly well - she is lucky she has a talented cast.
Jalaal rocks 😃 but I do still have a soft spot for ASR not so much for AAK, Rajat is doing a great job 😊 and he is really good looking too. It doesn't seem like he is two years younger than me (does that make me a cougar 😉?) - so much maturity in his acting!

PS - I will not forgive Gullu either 😕 she keeps creating these wonderful characters and then royally messing them up 😕

nice analysis. liked the episode yest. specially AkDha scenes and Rajmata scene.

Firstly , abt first AkDha scene. the feelings of both r changing towards eachother and both are aware of it. while Jalal doesn't care in hiding his feelings, he is aware of Jodha being still uncomfortable in even sharing a room with him. and he is enjoying his new feelings. just yest when he sees Jodha and then looks at the moon, the expressions on his face r like " the beauty of both is just unmatchable, bewitching, serene, but both r untouchable. one can dream to possess both but it's impossible." and then again he looks back at her (and my thoughts were). now he must be thinking " let her be away from me now, but she will be mine forever. this dream will be fulfilled one day." and all the time he is smiling (not his usual smirk , which even i hate sometimes). this smile was a mystery. the whole scene was beautiful. Full marks to Rajat for his 'Tender' expressions there. just once had he given his usual smirk, and the whole scene would have been ruined.

one the other hand there is Jodha. one who has witnessed a completely different Jalal at Ajmer, who is humble, more of a human, or while fighting with tiger and later when he is injured badly, even then his brave side, she is attracted towards him, and she knows it. but the ' Ghrina' shield
she has kept btw them right from the start, she is continuing it like before. on one hand while she is scared( or confused) by her new feelings for him, she is still not trusting him completely. and that's her need not to give in to her new feelings, to keep her own 'SELF' intact, which matters for Rajputs more than their life. and she will always keep it, even when she will fall for him.

let's see how their further trip to Amer happens. hope the CVs keep the sensitivity of the scene alive. but i feel it's Adham and shariffuddin who r behind this attack.

abt other scenes, Hameeda banu preparing gifts for sukanya, and Jodha accepting it without much fuss. it's her respect and love towards her 'ammijaan' . Had it been Jalal who shows these gifts to her, and she had retorted back in typical Jodha manner. don't expect her to change , she will be like that forever. just like i said it's her 'Shield' she has prepared for herself to survive in 'Mughal Sultanat'. very soon, Jalal will find out what "His Real Jodha" is, whom his ammijaan loves lot.

rest, MA-Javeeda scene, i liked it. rather i like Javeeda. i think she is not fool or innocent, she knows what her MIL really is , and so it's her facade to irritate MA. so Ma will naturally ignore her and will not even think to harm her.

Rajmata scene was again very good. the lady is so mature and graceful. i m sure she will be the one who will put some sense in both Jodha and Jalal. may be she will be the one to break the ice btw AkDha , and that can be a great help to start a new relationship btw the two, the new relation of trust, friendship and being support of eachother everytime it's needed.

i think that's enough for today. one thing here, all things written here r just my feelings, i m not trying to read Jodha or Jalal's mind. it's just what i felt.
