There's hardly anything left for Sachin to achieve: Varun Badola

As the God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar announced about his retirement from test cricket after his 200 test, cricket lover and TV actor, Varun Badola, says Sachin Tendulker will be deeply missed.

"Sachin is like an institution for me. I am a person who grew up watching Gavaskar sir and Kapil Paaji but Sachin is somebody with whom I've matured. He has been playing cricket since the age of 16 and he has been playing for almost last 25 years. I think he must have taken the decision after a lot of thinking and he best understands his body. He has done a lot for us and our country. People take ages to score one century and here Sachin has 1000 centuries on his name. The kind of workload that he has gone through in the past 25 years is commendable," said Varun.

For Varun acting might be his profession but cricket is what rules the actor's heart. Varun, who is part of Salman Khan's Celebrity Cricket League team Mumbai Heroes, says that there's hardly anything left for Sachin to achieve. "As an avid and ardent cricket lover, I am disappointed at Sachin's retirement but I believe there is hardly anything left for him to achieve. I will definitely miss Sachin and his game. He has even played with the gen next team like Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Poojara and Rohit Sharma. He has already made and broken all the records in all formats of the game whether it is in Test, One day or T20. I am always disappointed when great players retire and it will be difficult to find a player like him again," concludes Varun

Thank you for the article, Ronit. I'm not a big fan of cricket but i know Sachin is one heck of a cricketer, it's sad indeed that he's retiring.
