The old adage that a leopard can't change his spots fits Pramad to the "T"! His turning over a new leaf, behaving like the loving husband, the perfect son, son-in-law is all fake, a ploy to mislead his wife, his own family and his in-laws!

Pramad's fake turnover
Everyone, including Kumud believes that Pramad has realized his mistakes and is trying to make amends! The conniving man has managed to convince all of his good intentions except Saras who sees right through him! To assuage any lingering doubts Pramad talks Kumud into marrying him again. Kumud who apparently is a poor judge of character, truly believes hubby dearest has her best interest at heart and is all out to give their marriage another shot little knowing that the wicked man has other agendas up his sleeve.

Saras's pleas fall on deaf ears
Pramad and his partner in crime Kalika have been plotting for quite some time now to make Kumud vulnerable by taking her safety net (i.e.Saras) away from her and then killing her. While the two are hatching their next strategy Saras eavesdrops on their conversation. Any doubts he had harbored about Pramad's sudden change of heart vanish. His gut feeling that Pramad has an evil streak proves correct. After Pramad's true colors are revealed Saras beats him up blue and black for deceiving Kumud. Saras is not sure what devious idea is churning in Pramad's mind but has a hunch the latter is up to no good and that Kumud's life is in danger. Saras tries to warn Kumud about Pramad's reality but all his pleas fall on deaf ears. Pramad has manipulated the nave Kumud to such an extent that she slaps Saras for striking her husband and asks him to leave so that she can lead her married life peacefully.

Pramad & Kalika's ploy to kill Kumud
The modus operandi of Kalika and Pramad is to get rid of Kumud after torturing her and lay the blame on Saras. To put their plot into action, Pramad asks Kumud to get ready for a surprise he has planned. The crafty man takes her to hotel and begins the great seduction scene, complete with scented candles and beautiful flowers. He strews rose petals in her paths and makes her comfortable. Meanwhile, Saras sensing something is amiss waylays Kalika and threatens her to disclose Kumud's whereabouts. When she tries to act smart he bundles her into the car with him and starts driving at break neck speed to rescue Kumud.

Saras rescues Kumud
In the hotel room Pramad tries to get intimate with Kumud, but something stops her from getting closer to her husband. She tells Pramad she needs some more time before embarking on a physical relationship. This enrages Pramad and he bluntly tells her that it Saras that she loves... he can see it in her eyes!! Then what do we have, the same demonic Pramad surfaces again! He blurts out the entire truth about their (Kalika & Pramad's) conspiracy to kill her and implicate Saras for the same. He sets the curtains on fire and soon Kumud is enveloped in flames. Watching her engulfed in the raging blaze a la "Om Shant Om" Pramad gives a sinister laugh and callously walks away! Just at that critical juncture, Saras turns up like a knight in shining armor, knocks down Pramad and braves the leaping flames to rescue his damsel in distress. Eyes lock and time stands still...Kumud sways and before she collapses the gallant Saras lifts her in his arms, steps over Pramad and brings her out to safety!

Lot is happening on Saraswatichandra! Apparently Pramad will shoot Saras! Will he be seriously wounded? Will the emotional, abusive quotient of the show continue? Will Kalika and Pramad's true intentions be exposed to the family? Will this usher in a new phase to the Saras-Kumud dastaan? Stay tuned and we'll be back with more soon!!!
