Yes, the Indian touch gives it a personal, dramatic feel, but it seems that they cannot come up with any decent ideas.

Yup, I definetely agree with you on this one! Seems like nowadays, a great majority of the movies in Bollywood or Hindi serials are merely copies. This makes it seem like the Indian film/tv industry has no creativity! (which is not necessarily true!) But this sure isn't setting a good example...
