He is the one that directed cult films like QSQT and Jo Jeeta wo Sikander, but I don't think he is a legend or the finest filmmakers in India.

This two film have been quite influential in BW

In 1980s action was the popular genre in decade till came QSQT , a new generation of romance. This film was a trendsetter.

Jo jeeta wo sikandar is one of first sports(cycling) films in BW that was a commercial and critical success.

Mansoor had graduated from IIT..he & Imran's father were fellow IITians.Mansoor's film JJWS was quite good...

I don't see anything wrong with Aamir's statement...He said ONE of the finest filmmakers...there could be 100 finest filmmaker in BW and he could be one of them...

Mansoor Khan changed BW with QSQT...he brought romance back on screen.

JJWS was sports movie which was rare at that time. This movie could have easily grossed 100cr if released during multiples era...that movie was way ahead of time..

Josh well who would have thought about biker gangs in India at that time...

1 super hit - 2 avg and 1 flop well not a bad resume at all.

The only complaint i have is 3 movies are inspired heavily from HW...

AHAT - cramer vs Cramer
Josh - West Side Story
