I have missed posting on this forum so very much! I just got the chance to watch yesterday's episode and knew I had to post because yesterday's episode was š³š. Here I am posting a topic when I have four tests this coming Monday that I should be studying for and bunch of homework to do. I guess you can say I have my priorities straight in life. I would also like to apologize for this essay. I love writing so I don't really know how much I have written till I have written it all.
Well all that aside, I am still super happy about the Jalal's "confession" which many of you guys feel may or may not be true. I, however, feel that it is somewhat true. I wouldn't necessarily believe that Jalal knows at this point what his feelings are toward Jodha, but I feel like he is getting a clue. I don't think he out right knows he loves her, but I would say he knows at this point there are some "stringed attached" if you can call it that.
What makes me believe that is the way he has been acting ever since he recovered and came back from Ajmer. Jalal did not blow up in anger when he saw Jodha, which I found to be surprising. Yes, he's sick and still recovering, but that sure is hell did not stop him from flirting with Jodha so... I am not sure why he wouldn't be angry and yell at her for what she has done. So far he hasn't even mentioned the incident in a way in which he is "angered". He has only in a flirting manner taunted Jodha about the incident instead of yelling at her for what she did. He's resumed all regular business as an Emperor so I would only assume that he would start yelling and punishing Jodha but he has done no such thing.
I am not too sure whether I should take this as a sign or if there was anything specific about this scene to begin with, but do you guys remember when Jalal regained his consciousness he held up his hand to which MA stepped forward but then realized the hand wasn't for her and then Ruqaiya went forward and realized he wasn't stretching out the hand for either and everyone looked at Jodha who in turn knew what Jalal was asking for and said no. I felt like he specifically sent that message to Jodha knowing she would understand and maybe because he felt some sort of closeness to her. I don't know, you guys let me know on this one because it could simply mean the man just wanted water which I would be happy to assume, but I am not sure why everyone was eying Jodha if that was the case.
Now back to the point of this topic, when Jalal was staring at the sun there was some emotions in his face that I've never seen him express/have in this show. He was peering out the window looking at the sun and knowing Jalal how many of you guys felt that Jalal looking at the sunset was out of character? He doesn't seem like the type to stand in front of a window and look out toward the sun setting. Plus, Jalal seemed completely serious when he told Ruqaiya he loved Jodha. When he was turned around and through the confession it looked as it is he was "helpless" in that he couldn't help his feelings. He didn't want to be in love with Jodha, but nevertheless, the fact remained that he did have feelings for her which is why he does the things he does for her. He seemed like he was tired of doing this whole charade of hating her. I feel if he were joking with Ruqaiya he would have made some sort of face that "yelled" I am joking when he wasn't facing her, but he didn't. He was serious throughout the whole scene. He told Ruqaiya he was joking and then again turned around and looked toward the sun as if him saying "this was a joke" was the joke that he had played on Ruqaiya while his confession was actually the truth.
Plus, I feel Jalal is way too much in a flirty mode with Jodha not to be in love or at least for a small crush. When she came in he was flirting with her and then when she left he was blaming himself for not having Jodha put ointment on him. If he was only looking to torture Jodha he wouldn't be having such self thoughts. Literally, he said something along these lines "I just missed the opportunity of having her apply this ointment on me. How foolish of me? It's okay, there will be lots of these moments in Amer." He wasn't dying to have Ruqaiya apply ointment on him (if you guys remember the scene where Ruqaiya is complaining to Jalal about going to Amer and how she will not allow him to go, therefore, she will see to it that he does not." Notice the difference?
What do you guys think? The weekend is long so I would like to feed my imagination off of what you guys think because I just cannot wait for Monday to see what is really going on in Jalal's mind or to at least get another hint. How many of guys feel he is in love but doesn't want to admit it? And how many of guys feel this is pure revenge? I feel if he wanted revenge he would have at least told Ruqaiya. He always tells her each and every plan of his.
Love,
Riya
