And I was just as pleased reading your lucid and pertinent comments, Anu. Thank you. Any writer needs such readers!

@blue. I am not so sure. As I wrote to you earlier, this is precisely what worries me, even given the comparative rigidity of the historical format.

Shyamala,I too used to watch PR. I stopped watching PR after seeing Archana being the epitome of sacrifice, perfection, , DIL, kindness, goodness and what not. I was tired. I wanted to see a normal person and when Purvi also started following her footsteps I couldn't take it anymore...

I really hope that doesn't become the case with Jodha. Atleast it hasn't started off that way.
It was a pleasure reading ur analysis Shyamala. Loved it!

Hi Dear,
I too expect something in that line...Jalaal taking Jodha for an emotional ride ,as we should remember that it was the same Ja who said "Dekhte hai Dil Jeet ta hai Ya Dimaag..."😕 and his admittance that he has not yet broken the Guroor of Jodha Begum...which can only mean making her fall for him first...🤢
so we should brace ourselves for a Heartless play of Love by the Brattish Jalaal as now he knows Jodha's emotional turning...😭

Aunty...such an entertaining... beautiful witty post this was - enjoyed reading it thoroughly..as it is, episodes from Tuesday onwards didn't really require anything beyond a sardonic take on them...apart from Jodha Bai there isn't much to ponder on for the past 3 days...

Anyway, as for your following two paragraphs, looks like your wishes might be fulfilled (though possibly not in the manner that you would have like to have witnessed them being fulfilled - well, definitely not in the manner that I'd like to witness them being fulfilled!)

It would do her(Jodha) a lot of good to fall helplessly in love, and have to try and win over the object of her affections. I hope this happens, in the sense that she discovers she is in love with Jalal before he discovers that he is in love with her. It is not impossible, for he will, for quite a while, interpret his soft corner for her as due to the kinship of ek hi kashti mein sawaar hone ki. Let us see!

It is not that I have anything against the high romantic, it is just that I prefer Jane Austen to Mills & Boon. So, I was greatly relieved by this indication in the precap that Jalal is not about to be transformed by his near death experience into a lovelorn Majnu, and will be back to his disputatious ways with his Begum Jodha as soon as he is rubaru with her (or as she would put it, sakshatkaar). Now that will be something to look forward to!!

Future prediction for episode is thus - by khabroo (inside sources, apparently)
Jalal will play a game of love with jodha
Jodhaa will too respond, but very slowly
When jodhaa eventually responds jalal will make fun of it
Jodhaa will be broken hearted when she learns of this, she will do something bad to herself
Hamida will interfere and jalal will eventually realise his mistake but in the quest to rectify his
mistake he will really fall for her
but Jodhaa will then take a long time to truly respond and when she responds it will be their SR nite

I should possibly wave 'bye-bye' to any remaining logic in the serial which shall only mean me waving 'bye-bye' to the serial as a whole...

No, my dear Kamal, I do not believe any of this nonsense, and as for why I do not believe it, it is there in my next post of today. And watching today's episode did not shake this conviction of mine in the least.

And there is also Mansi's thread, which you must have seen. As for this 'inside info' these were the same people who had told us that the MC perpetrator was Hoshiyaar!

Hi Shyamala,
well, it was a Joke but as You too felt the irony, I see that many of us feel the same about the "Fake Fakeness" shown by Jalaal...the boy is still in Denial it seems...!!!😉

I had wrote much things on MoronsKiMallika's Thread in RED

emphasizing the nuances in the expression, Body Language and Dialogues BUT

only to find that the net connection went off at the time of posting it ..making me lose the entire piece typed...😭..hence will do that again tomorrow...

Regards,
Kamal
