SC should go off air!!

I was a fan of SC when it began and for a long time after that too when there was love blossoming... but they lost me and everytime I watch it renews my belief of why I stopped watching!!

The serial has really descended to a level where I am sure the writers have no clue how to bring it back!! I admire the actors for mouthing those inane lines like they believe it!!

Take just the last one week... so suddenly while pramaad is playacting on being a good husband... u have the family of VC seeking forgiveness from him for any mistake their daughter did!!! I did not see BD and family seeking forgiveness from VC's family for the physical harm he did to their daughter and.. the melodrama of all of them saying sorry about the saras issue while it was pramaad who was sleeping with kalika... gosh... the levels they fell and the level kumud the supposedly strong woman keeps falling... rising... then falling again... I can understand why viewership is falling!!

A girl's ultimate fate is decided by a husband who changed just 3 days ago... and she and family are seeking forgiveness for the months of torture? beyond my imagination to understand such crap!!
I am so disappointed in the show and feel bad for many of the actors who are really awesome... but then some story lines cannot be redeemed!!

You know if negativity had it's own way then this show would have finished a while ago and I'm sure many people here would be happy.

Is it really that bad a show that people strive to say something positive about it? And if it's that bad then why not watch the other TRP topping shows? Every drama will have flaws, this one does too but at the core it's still a very beautifully etched love story. One day it's amazing for some, the next it's the most awful thing on TV. Like seriously?! If a show disappoints you (I don't mean you directly) then I don't see the point of watching it everyday or discussing it.

I've been at India-Forums way too long and this forum is undoubtedly the most negative one I've come across!!! Which is sad because the quality of SC is still far greater than most soaps on air ATM :)

Reemz dont get me wrong... I used to love SC too... I still watch every other day hoping for a redemption... there is no other hindi serial I watch after IPKKND! I am just way too disappointed at the direction this show is taking... rational and logic aside... the reason I watch is becoz of it being a beautiful love story... of sacrifice of telepathy, of a hope that rests in each one's heart despite the distance!! a love story that transcends but when coupled with a lousy story line and a very degrading image of a woman it hurts ... and since expectations were so high... disappointment is also higher...

if they had stayed true to original ... fine with it... if u made it adaptable.. then they shd have really made it nayi soch!! but this constant degradation of a woman... in this case kumud... vc's family seeking forgiveness while BD and family dont for the crap that their son dished out... just continues to reinforce images that we seek change for!!!

so if they dont have a progressive story line... better end it !!

PS - always used to love your posts on the IPKKND forum!!

but wishing show go off air is a bit too much .

i too am disappointed with story line many times and wanna bang my head but then it does give me far better options then most of the good tvt shows .

it is not the best show indeed but better then so called best shows and its unique lead pair story is its usp .

I would like to remember the leads and the story positively than to think of the serial or the leads negatively like most other serials... that is why prefer a end... leaving us hoping than having them dashed completely!!

i agree with u but at present i find no problem with show

uts a daily show they need to make story to pull up the episode everyday and keep tvt aunty haappy too .so we cant expect high quality every day .

i am still thankful till now that they have a stand at least .and we r not getting too much saas bahu crap .All is well till the leads r focused and other characted help them

I can understand your disappointment! I too dont watch serials, and happened to read and then chance upon a few episodes of this serial, before reading all updates and watching all the videos, thanks to the forum !!

The episodes till June-July, were masterpieces, each frame well thought out, each dialogue and expression done with a purpose, and of course exceptional leads- both Gautam and Jennifer just fitted thier roles perfectly.

Compared to that, what we watch now is a complete let down. And it is sad.

But like some here, I would like to keep the positive feeling, that once the mess created by the marriage and foul characters -Pramad and Kalika, are out, the serial will start making more sense. For the sake of such wonderful leads, and for us--- the complete romantics !!! sure hope so !!

Trust me I would love for that too!!! would give me a chance to keep watching atleast one hindi serial!!!

I agree with you in some places but show to go off air , NO buddy ! I dont agree at all !

I think many of us are really disappointed with the turn the show took after the marriage of Kumud, but to wish it to go off air, I would be really disappointed, since I can still see the effort made by all the protagonists to give justice to the character especially the lead pair. I may not agree with a lot of what is shown, but when compared to other shows with high TRPs this one is still much better I have tried to watch some other serialsbut none could keep me riveted as Saraswatichandra did and sometimes still do. So as an optimist I would still hope for the best.
