Just managed to find the first portion with conversation between Kalindi and Anjali...very soapy...😆 Who talks in real life like that😲
When watching again...caught the Ashlok scenes again...actually in a demented sort of way...it was passionate on Shloks side...I think marriage is on the cards pretty soon...
Wasn't there another TV show ...where the male lead forces the female lead who is much more educated and polished to marry him...? Can't remember the name...my folks used to watch that in India...
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I can't post much anymore on this forum.
Great post! Enjoyed reading it.
I rapidly went through the replies, and had to comment on the above quote
In fact, there exist such people who talk like Kalindi & Anjanli! I've seen even worse situations :P I was actually glad to see something like that! Haven't really seen such conversations in other shows.
Regarding the episode - only concentrating on one aspect.
I'm SO glad the parents didn't create any drama after the hug...
IDK, I feel the audience is NEVER satisfied.
The stereotype is to question, scold, distrust the daughter.
And what do we get? Something new! Finally. And still some people are not satisfied. #nooffence
I'm sure if this continues, the parents will definitely confront Aastha about it. But right now, it's just been one incident, and if the girl says there is nothing to talk abt it, so be it. She's a grown up woman. She has confronted them already about the auto-rikshaw thing. She has always informed her parents when she was going on field trips for work. Also with WHOM. Give the girl some space! If you keep on questioning, the girl will start to hide things. So, personally I was very much relieved to see this liberal behaviour of the parents. They however do worry about Aastha. Kalindi is always worried. So there you go, she IS keeping an eye on the daughter. She is cautious, she is warning the daughter all the time. But you cannot spoon feed your children after a certain age.
Let the daughter make decisions for herself and learn from mistakes.
My dad always tells me, I can only give you suggestions, but it is for you to decide eventually.
Sorry for the rant, I just had to say this :)
And it's not against anyone's views or anything. But yeah, I'm a bit annoyed at the never-ending dissatisfaction of the viewers and the trade offs between conventional and unconventional.
Every family is different. And the writers are never going to portray an 'average' family. That's not possible. There doesn't exist anything like an average family. They focus on one particular family, which might have odd habits, too. You can't generalize and say that's not reality.
No offence. My POV only.
