well all the ladies in the harem including ruku, salima & im sure jodha will also do tht, were ready kill themselves after jalal's death. few ladies ran away, but did u see one begum(dont know her name) refused to run away. these ladies maybe gud, maybe bad, but their emotions were pure for jalal. conditions were really pathetic for ladies in those days. as ruku said she is the head queen & at the top, but even she was in the same boat like others.

ya their conditio was bad,if the shehenshah was not safe then his wives also had to suffer a fate worse than death.

I think its about loyalty.

Its not necessary that all his begams love him.. but he looks after their needs, provides for them. Those begams running away.. were disgusting.

dat was big prob those days...rajput ladies use to jauhor after their hubby's death in a war...to avoid any kind of humuliation...same case with mughal women

loyalty is also a big thing. but yes they r nothing without their shahenshah.

actually they fear...koi our ake kingdom dakhal karlega toh...he will force them...humiliate them...

ya, but they took jewelries along with them. they can choose death as well like other ladies.
