Sussanne Roshan & Gauri Khan planning a joint venture

The friendship between Sussanne Roshan and Gauri Khan seems to be going from strength to strength with a much talked about new collaboration on the anvil.

Industry grapevine suggests that the two star wives are launching a real estate business and they have already started work on their first project.

A source close to the development told Mirror that Sussanne who already has a successful interiors label wanted to extend her brand and asked Gauri to come on board as a partner.

Sussanne and Gauri are in talks with a construction company and their first project might be the development of 12 luxury villas in Goa.

Gauri had earlier designed a limited edition collection of furniture and accessories for Sussanne's furniture label and now the two look set to take it to the next level, from prohibitively priced dcor items to expensive living spaces. "Sussanne is a well established name in the interior dcor business and both she and Gauri are recognisable names and they are hoping to cash in on their brand value," added the source.

"Currently negotiations are still on regarding profit distribution but it is likely to be divided between the two ladies and the developers in question, revealed the source."

So will we see the two glamorous women trekking across construction sites in their skyscraper heels?

"No they might not be involved in the day to day activities, they will mainly be the face of the business," said the source.
