Except Ranbir Kapoor, who do you all see as a future fixture in a superstar position, potential wise?
I just dont see it with anyone except Ranbir from the younger lot.

The Khans striked early and often

Aamir: Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Dil Hai KI Manta Hai, Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke

Salman: Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hai

SRK: Deewana, Baazigar, Darr, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

The Khans will be a tough act to follow, who from the younger lot, except Ranbir, has the talent and skills to one day be remembered as tops of their era?

Frankly, I think it's very much possible that we don't have proper superstars who commanded such mass hysteria after the Khans. ..and that the newbies are all popular and do well, but not to that extent.

Its very possible but every era has had its superstars

50s-60s= Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Raj Kapoor
70s-80s= Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra
90s-00s= Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan

A simple reason : Times have changed and (some) Indians have found other things to go gaga over other than Cricket and Bollywood.
Just kidding. Cricket is our religion and Bollywood is our culture.

Superstar thing is such a passe now.

True, but audiences are less loyal now than they were before, so you never really know.

Between all the newcomers Aditya is most popular and Sushant has the best films.

All the newcomers are just 1 or 2 film old .within 3years we will can see who will survive and make it big. Maybe the least expect could make it big .and those having big projects at present could disappear with time

Ranbir and Imran are the oldest one among new comers! Let other do some more movies then may be we can figure out!!!

By the Way Dev Patel is always unbeatable And he is one of the newcomer and has already beat everyone in superstardom!😎

No slowly star system is leaving Indian cinema

The Khans were the last of their kind. No one in the future will as famous as them

Going into the future no actor/actress/star will be above story/director/writer/content

^ that IMHO will be the death of bollywood cause then it will just be Hollywood .

So it just be more blatant Hollywood copies

KJO claims when content takes importance over stars the industry will thrive . I say it will die

Stars are unique cause they stick out at airports and they give a vibe

But people like Ranbir or Imran or ark just seem like regular joe Schmoes 😆 😆

IMO you cant build your careers on others strategies. Thats what most newcomers are doing. You need to make your own mistakes and learn from them just like the Khans and other superstars did before them. Only ones who seem be doing that are Vidyut Jamwal and ARK. The rest need to survive outside their mentor's shadow.
