Filmfare Results Posted!~Spoilers..~

This night has gotten hotter! Kareena and Karisma Kapoor have just walked in, dazzling those around with their beauty. Kareena's in a lovely blue outfit and Karisma is in a black dress. Whew! One of them is enough to send the crowed in a tizzy. Two of them together can kill!

Music composer Shravan has walked in black formals. He's talking to the media about his next film with the Bhatts. Considering the Bhatts have a good ear for music, this one will be worth looking forward to, we think.

Iqbal actor Shreyas Talpade has just come on to the Red Carpet. The actor, incidentally, has just been signed on by Nagesh Kukunoor once again after debuting with him in Iqbal. Obviously, Nagesh is impressed with the youngster. The film is to be produced my Subhash Ghai once again. So it's the Iqbal trio together all over again.

Dharmesh Darshan has just walked in. He's wearing a smart churidar kurta. "I have designed it myself," informs the director. He has arrived with a young actor Dilip who is yet to make his debut. Is Dharmesh Darshan playing mentor? We'll know soon enough when the announcement comes, won't we? For now DD is keeping things under wraps!

Choreographer turned director Farah Khan has just walked in. She's being interviewed by the media, and jokes that, "Shah Rukh has been nominated, so I am here on work!"

After Rahman is the turn of the First Family of Bollywood. The Bachchans have just walked onto the Red Carpet. Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan are looking stylish as ever. Aishwarya, too, looks lovely in a beautiful sari

A R Rahman has just arrived at the red carpet. He's dressed in a stylish black jacket and is looking daper. We're sure everyone is looking forward to enjoying his live performance.

Hrithik Roshan and Bipasha Basu will set the stage ablaze with their Dhoom 2 performances.

"This is a very unusual Filmfare Awards," observes Karisma Kapoor. "It's nice. We're here because Kareena has been nominated in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category for 'Omkara'." Ask Kareena about her outfit and she informs, "Manish Malhotra has designed it."

Kirron Kher walks in and asked about Filmfare Awards' new avatar, she replies, "It's very refreshing. This should have happened much earlier."

Ask Aishwarya about how she's feeling about her own nomination in the Best Actress category for 'Dhoom 2' and Abhishek & Amitabh's nomination in the Best Actor in a Supporting role category for the same film 'KANK' and she replies, "It's a wonderful evening. It's all in the family and I'm looking forward to the evening."

When asked whether the FairOne Filmfare Awards will carry off its new avatar with success, Amitabh Bachchan replies, "Why not?"

Hrithik Roshan has arrived along with wife Suzanne and dad Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik has two nominations in the Best Actor category – for 'Dhoom 2' and 'Krrish'. He's also performed for the awards, and his act will be telecast with the Awards event on the small screen.

Rani Mukherjee has made an appearance and she's looking superb dressed in a beautiful black sari and a green blouse.

Boman Irani and Kunal Kapoor are seen sharing jokes even while Soha and the other RDB stars chat up...

Also in blue this evening is the stunning Bipasha Basu, with a glittering diamond brooch on her shoulder. She's looking simply gorgeous. She's been nominated in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role catergory for 'Corporate'. John obviously wasn't able to accompany her – he's busy with his film 'Water's nomination for the Oscar in the meanwhile. We hear he's feeling lonely without Bips, and vice versa. Together or not, this couple is definitely a winner.

Hottie Sanjay Dutt has just walked in, and he's definitely looking very stylish in his black jacket and tie! We don't see the Deadly Dutt quite often, but looks like even he couldn't miss out on the most happening event of the year. Dutt's been nominated in the Best Actor category for 'Lage Raho Munnabhai', and we're sure he's nervous about whether he'll clinch this one or not. Keep praying Sanjay! Incidentally, we hear the next film in the Munnabhai series is already well under way and this one is titled 'Munnabhai Chale Amrika'. We're looking forward to this one.

The Awards ceremony has just taken off... It's time to hold on to your seats and know who the winners are.
First up are the Technical Awards.

Preity Zinta is wearing a hot red dress and has just entered the venue. She's been nominated in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category for 'KANK'.

10.15 pm

The Best Cinematography Award goes to 'Rang De Basanti'. Alka Yagnik and Anu Mallik have come on stage to present the next few awards. Naresh Iyer wins the RD Burman Award.

A R Rahman puts up a dazzling performance which he has specially prepared for the evening, and the audience is mesmerized by his performance.

Next Technical Award, the Best Choreography award goes to Ganesh Acharya for the song Beedi Jalayle (Omkara).

9.45 pm

Ask Ishaa Koppikar about her outfit for the night and she replies, "You'll only seen me in Jeans and T-shirts usually, but I've taken a lot of effort tonight. I'm wearing a black gown which has been designed by Anita Dongre. The jewelry I am wearing has been designed by Pradip Jethani."

Amrita Rao is looking stunning in a black outfit. "My outfit has been designed by Komal Sahani," she informs, and adds, "We tried to give it a very Red Carpet kind of look."

The very first FairOne Filmfare Technical Awards has just been announced. And the very first Black Lady of the evening has gone to 'Krrish'! The Hrithik-starrer won for Best Special FX.

9.30 pm

A voice over (VO) introduced Karan Johar. Karan enters and talks about the Filmfare Awards down the years, and about its new avatar. He now calls on dignitaries to introduce the Filmfare Mascot Filmo.

Shah Rukh, the host for the evening, and Karan Johar are at their witty best. They're keeping the crowd entertained with their banter.

Rani is looking great. When asked who had designed her outfit, she replies, "Anuradha Vakil has designed my clothes." Ask her whom she's rooting for among the Best Actor nominees and she replies, "It's difficult to choose - but I think it's going to be a tough fight between Aamir and Shah Rukh! They're my favourites."

The Best Costumes Award announced earlier went to 'Omkara'.

And guess what? This seems to be Kangana Ranaut's night alright. She's just received yet another award – The Best Debut Award for 'Gangster'. It is presented to her by Mr. Jagdish and Sneha Saxena.

Karan is back on stage now. Next up is the Sony FairOne Face of the Year Award. It goes to Kangana Ranaut for 'Gangster'. Kunal Dasgupta and Dr. Anuj Saxena present the award.

Now there's an AV of 'Rang De Basanti' playing. The host pretends to have an imaginary conversation with Aamir Khan, and pretends that Aamir is present but invisible. Next he announces Sridevi's 80's act (only for television views who will see the recorded performance later). Karan next calls on Juhi to co-host the next few awards.

Now it's time for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) Award. Ash and Farhan are still on stage. The nominees are:

SRK is back on stage. There's an AV of 'Dhoom 2' playing. SRK calls on stage Abhishek Bachchan and there's a little comic interaction between the two.
Next up is the Best Actor in a Negative Role Award. Vipul Shah and Shefali Shah come on stage to announce the winner. The nominees are:

Oops! Shah Rukh has been pulled up in mid-air suddenly. And Karan Johar is back on stage to announce the next few awards. Next is the Filmfare Power Award which is presented by Amitabh Bachchan to Yash Chopra. Yash Chopra gets a standing ovation.

Now it's the Best Music Award. And the nominees are:

There's an in memorium moment – for the late legends Hrishikesh Mukherjee, O P Nayar, Naushad, and actress Padmini.

Earlier, Mr Arun Arora of the Times Group made a short speech on the Awards. Later An AV was played on the late Smita Patil and her cinematic work. Shabana Azmi came on stage to speak about her, and presented a momento to Smita's sister manya and her son Prateik. And a collage of photographs signed by her colleagues. Prateik says a few words.
The Best Background Score Award went to Salim Suleman for 'Krrish'
Best Sound Design Award went to Omakara, and was presented by Koena Mitra and Dino Morea
Best Cinematography Award went to Binod Pradhan for 'Rang De Basanti', and this one was announced once again by Koena and Dino.
Sanjay Dutt came on stage and did a Munnabhai imitation much to the delight of the crowd.

Next up is the Lifetime Achievement Award. It is presented by Yash Chopra and Rakesh Sippy to Javed Akhtar. There's an AV of Javed Akhtar's work being played at the same time.

Now it's time for the Best Dialogue award. The honours are once again done by Madhur and Feroz Khan. And the award goes to Abhijit Joshi and Rajkumar Hirani for 'Lage Raho Munnabhai'. Rajkumar Hirani and VV Chopra collect the award.

Next is the Best Screenplay Award. Madhur and Feroz are still on stage to do the honours. The award goes to Jaideep Sahni for 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'

SRK and Juhi are back on stage now. They are introducing the next performance by Rani Mukherjee – once again this has been recorded and will be shown in the television telecast only. Rani has performed a 90's medley.
