Ram-Leela's Music

I'll be honest I expected the music to be mediocre when I heard that SLB is composing them himself along with Monty Sharma coz I knew SLB wud overshadow MS and wud compose the lion share of the album himself.. I liked Guzaarish but its nothing worth remembering.. then when Tathad Tathad released I was like arghhh see I was right the music is indeed mediocre.. even the rest of the songs with an exception of Laal Ishq sounded dull and boring But But But.. after listening to them again the songs started growing on me.. SLB and MS have done a fab job and so did the singers.. Shail hada proved why SLB has so much faith in him.. and my my Aditya Narayan... he who never took singing career seriously and probably took up singing as a last resort as his dream career of acting never seem to take off.. has improved heaps and bounds or what 😲 I am totally impressed by both the songs he has sung.. and Bhoomi Trivedi can't believe its her first big break.. she has done a fab job with Ram Chahe Leela 😃 all in all I loved the album.. the songs have an intoxicating quality in them.. it takes time but they do grow on u like vintage wine.. My rating would be 4/5 😃

Who cares if the above were better albums? This is SO much better than recent albums :) Love the classy indian songs. Not much English either except for the Ram Chahe Leela with a few words, thank god!😃

and i find this bhansali's weakest.

pales in comparison with khamoshi, devdas and hddcs.

But none were SLB's compositions I mean yeah he composed a single track for Saawariya but rest of the movies had ID and J-L at the helm of music.. I am comparing this with Guzaarish as it was composed by SLB and I found RL better than Guzaarish'a album.

Agree with u.. there is an earthy and rustic feel to the songs which is like a breath of fresh air.. I am loving all the songs.
