Teachers’ Day

There is one similarity – abbreviation T D

It is Teachers' Day today, 1^st September. There is a kindergarten teacher on this forum including a lecturer. She told me she teaches for a few hours. (i will not mention her name; maybe she lied to me) Anyway this is dedicated to her and all other teachers.

I came across this poem in the newspaper.

You toil from morning till dusk for us

You teach us right from wrong

You help us do our arts and crafts

And even sing a song

We learn to read our nursery rhymes and write our ABCs

We learn how little seeds grow from seedlings into trees

You teach us how to love and share

We learn to laugh a lot

To stop and smell the flowers, to give the best we have got

As I journey through this life with the knowledge you impart

Never forget on this Teachers' Day

To say thank you from my heart!

I remember last year I had called one of my teacher and wished him and conveyed the message for the entire stafff

Thank You for this poem.Iam a preschool teacher and in Singapore we celebrate on 1st Sept.I didnt expect anyone on IF to putup a post for this day.I m very touched.

Taechers's day....yeh pehli baar suna...Does taht mean teh teacher's get to take a day off...aacha hain..hum students ko ek din ke liye unse chotkaar to milega.... 😆
