I was thinking they went for zyarat to pray for Jalal... as par pir sahib ...jalal ki jaan ko khatra hae
...BUT .

Nor jalal neither jodha did dua for Jalal's long life...his health ..his pride as shahnshah...nor jalal ask God to give him strength to rule wisely... ...as an emperor his main responsibility is for his kingdom and his people...n dont ell he is not Akbar..yet...i m enough wih jalal greatness ... what he said to fakir while donating his crown is more than enough to proof ...he ... as an emperor does care for his people ...his subjects...

CVs failed to make this scene significant n with out any effect ..just to make the scene romantic...but even they failed in this tooo.. it was not romantic either... jodha was without any politeness n respect of holy place chibbing..shahnsha nae ham sae sab cheen lia

she has all right to remain n worship according to her faith..nobody ever even try to tell her just try to acquire her inlaws custom orsome religious custom..like salam or dua...etc... she has her pride... right to stop her lawful husband...her virginity... pride of her family n freedom of her state... every other person in her susral repects her... her saas is madly in love with her ..she is even obsessed.. ruqayya the most poweful nobel lady never do any thing against her... salima... her nand bakhshi bano...gulbadan begum... jiiji anga...atga khan every one respects her... not to mention all luxuries of life...which she is enjoying with full right... so what exactly jalal snatched from her...after marriage every girl has go far from her parents...

it would be more romantic and generous ...for my side...but they made this scene so immature...

See, Vicki, we on exactly the same page on this one. Here is what I wrote on Alakh's thread, to sort out the same doubts.

No, my dears (Alakh and Tripti) , though you are both partly correct, it was not quite like that. Let me try and explain and then you can see if you agree with me.

There are two places where they pray. The first, and the really important one, is at the tomb of the Khwaja, inside. That is where she copies Jalal and prays with hands raised. There, she must have prayed, and with all her heart, for her husband's safety and well being. One does not know what he prayed for,

Next, after the chaadar chadana ceremony and the blessings, they come to the second, subsidiary place and tie threads and make wishes. This is a more devout version of throwing a coin in a well and making a wish. It is not as holy a place as the tomb. So she can ask for whatever she most wants.

Here. Jodha wished not her husband's downfall, but that she should, at least once, be able to teach him a lesson, which is a kiddish thing to want, but not malicious. He wishes that her wish might come true.

My expectation is that after the tiger attack, Jodha will be horrified, thinking that it is her second wish come true in an almost deadly manner. She will see it as a paat for herself, and will feel very guilty. She might even tell him of it later, and he will laugh.

The Prayer/Dua was done when they both were on their knees at the holy spot where Khwaajaji lay- where Jodha raises her hands in Dua and prays. That is where they prayed without VOICING it - remember what Jalaal told Jodha? Aap na chaahe toh dua nahiin bhi maang saktee. And Jodha says she will - Hamaara mann hai. So, whatever intention they came here with , they did it.

What you are pointing out is the spot where Mannat ka dhaaga is tied - a wish is asked from Khwaajaji. And Jodha never asked for Jalaal's pain - she just made a kiddish and immature wish to teach Jalaal a lesson. It was wrong , but she had prayed for his well being already with him at the spot where Khwaajaji lay.
