Shiv's Maldives honeymoon
Iqbal Khan (Shiv in Karam Apna Apna) whisked his new wife, Sneha Chabbra to the Maldives for their honeymoon. He left the serial in December to spend more time with Sneha so we ask him how his experience of marriage has been.

He started off by saying: "I can tell you where I went but I can't tell you what I did! Even though I'm not a beach person Maldives was a lot of fun and we had a great honeymoon," Iqbal said, "there were huge clean beaches and not too many people so it was lovely."
The actor made sure the location was romantic and no unnecessary distractions like shopping got in the way of them having a good time: "We did absolutely no shopping there. I chose Maldives because it's quite secluded. Every island is a resort and there aren't many shops. There might be one regular shop on the island, so there would be no scope for shopping! Anyway a woman can shop anywhere and our honeymoon was not going to be about shopping."
Fantasy Island
"The most romantic part of the holiday was when I organized for us to be alone on this island. It was just my wife and I having a romantic meal on this deserted fantasy island. We had a barbeque alone there with only a waiter and a chef present. I had to ask the resort staff so that I could pull it off, but it was something that I just had to do. Like a fantasy of "you and me on a lonely island".
Plans cancelled
"Initially we had planned to go to the US, but I was denied a visa there because the authorities had some problem with my name. My full name is Mohammad Iqbal Khan and they felt that it was suspicious. But now that whole thing has cleared up. They have told me I can apply again at any time and I will be granted a visa."
Life after Marriage
"Only good things have come from being married. I've always been alone and have had to handle things by myself but being married means that I have to do only 50 percent, which is great. The rest of it my wife takes care of except for the cooking. There I do 0 percent and my wife handles full 100 percent! Marriage has been good for me. I get home cooked food and I am relaxed.
"I'm off from work for a while"
I've taken a break from work so I am just chilling for the time being. I have no pressure and no stress. I want to be with my wife, so she can never say that I didn't give her time.
