Can Sanchi file case against Jagya?

I was thinking, if Sanchi tries to commit suicide, can Shekars file case against Jagya? If so what kind of cases can be filed?

The maximum they can file is a breach of promise. And even that won't hold water because Jagya went there, talked to them and released himself from the engagement. Indian law won't take action because in that case they would have to take action against every young man who backs off after the engagement when he finds out that his fiancee is a lying nutcase

I suggest Jagya to file a case back at Sanchi for public embarassment ( hotel and road scenes) , stalking, mental harassment . Oh and the Shekhars should know that attempted suicide is a huge crime and is punishable by jail term upto 5 yrs. Shiv being a collector would know

No psychiatrist would consent to have her as a patient. She would probably break up the psychiatrist's marriage if he so much as says she is wrong. Or worse

I don't think Sanchi can file any case against Jagya. Refusing to marry just days before the date of marriage is bad in the eye of society, may lead to people badmouthing the family, even a hindrance in Sanchi's future marriage prospects, but this not against any law and even if Sanchi files a case, this will not lead to conviction of Jagya.

Sanchi may not be able to do anything.

I really don't think Gauri will attempt to file a case as there are so many things a defence lawyer can bring out which will effectively strip off her image as a ' Helpless victim of a cheating jerk' and instead expose her own true nature . I give her brains enough credit to realize that
I understand and agree when people criticize Jagya for marrying her under false pretences but the lady in question was no saint. My first question as a defence lawyer would be
'' Mam you came to know that the marriage was a fake. Then why knowingly continue it and furthermore try to assert property rights?"

She played tons of disgusting games too and was just as much of a bad egg as Jagya was. Jagya changed but she clung to her pride. And I do not accept the excuse that she did it for love. Basically if Ganga cries for love or maintains a friendship with the object of her love---she is manipulative
If you play manipulative games and lie even to the object of your love you are a victim?
