Not what one would call a dhamaka episode but after all the high drama tension episodes, this one was pretty mellow but on the mark.
The couples patched up quite sweetly with RV exclaiming that he is lucky to be Rukmini's boyfriend. Panchi was a bit surprised at being the witness of such proclamation while Rukmini walked off with a satisfied smile on her face. Though this triangle seems far from over as seen later that Rukmini still wasn't comfortable seeing Panchi boost RV's confidence and urging him on while he was stuck. But can't say much more without seeing this angle explored more in depth.
KiSha. Hmmm...maybe others would disagree but I liked their patch up. It was sweet and not overtly done. He came over to her place to talk to her and she gave him a chance to sort things. Yeah, not much discussion was done on the money issue but I felt that she consciously didn't pursue that topic. Why talk about something which would only bitter things? At the end of the day, they are together and still going strong. Which, I must admit, was a pleasant sight to watch.
The grand speech! While KD was confident from the start, I was having the time of my life seeing RV so blank, shocked and speechless. Partly cuz that's such a RV thing and partly cuz Kunal Jaisingh is the best when it comes to dorky expressions! Yes, I am biased. Finally some insight to KD's CCTV agenda and one can agree to his stand. Why risk? Why leave it all to luck? Why cross fingers and hope that some hints will be dropped by the person who is in trouble? When one can make sure that there is some thread which they can grab on to and pull the person out of danger. Regarding price hike, I agreed with his point that already hostelers are going through the trouble of living away from home so let's not make it anymore different. It's the confidence he had in his agendas and himself that he'll make ICC a better place for all which oozed and won everyone over.
Which was a huge contrast to RV who had the trouble of his life, standing there trying to deliver a speech. Trust me, I was with the guys boo-ing at him. But I also understood RV's position, he hasn't done anything like this in his life before. Stand before a crowd and try to convince them for something. Because he never felt the need to. Though I loved it how after initial hesitation, he ditched trying to be something he's not and got into his RJ mode. Warmed people up to him before presenting his side of arguments. Needless to say, I liked his agendas more because he is more clear visioned that KD's team. Making sure that safety isn't being depended on cameras but rather on a person himself and researching better ways to counter inevitable price hike which is a national issue. Strong agenda and a strong way of supporting it. Good job My Man! 👏
The Buddies stand united. RV calling for a round of applause for KD and KD hugging RV in front of everyone, oh boy! JeeMi's face were worth watching. After all their efforts, these two guys are still friends first and opposition later. JeeMi has underestimated Buddies and it showed when the Buddies all walked away to have some Buddy time, leaving the enemies behind.
The game is far from over though. Polling begins tomorrow and politics will begin now. Let's see who wins ultimately.
