Besharam getting very bad reviews from critics to public. whats went wrong with this movie, was it the script or Ranbir's acting?😕

though it has collected nearly 20+cr. in an opening day, Ranbir didn't get this much negative remarks for any of his movies. so IMO all credit goes to Abhivanav Kashyap, for these bad reviews and negativity.

now my question is who is behind Dabang's success, Salman or Abhinav?

I cay say that full credit goes to Salman Khan for Dabang movie success. because Abhinav only said that " Salman never rehearses and often forgets his lines. He is very spontaneous, though. A lot of times, even the director is in the dark - we don't know what he'd say in a particular scene until he goes ahead and says it. But that works for him."

so there is nothing good in his script & direction, it works because of one and only Salman Khan, am I right?😉

Ranbir seemed to sell the chracter in the trailer and what not but maybe the script or story just didn't click?!

And Abhinav basically saying that he lets the actor do what works for them?! He sounds confused in that sentence. 😆

If it was anyone else other than Salman Dabangg would have been never made and even if made it would have never got a chance to see the light of the day and that is a FACT. Salman was the only reason why a movie like Dabangg worked.

Coming to Besharam it started on a wrong note coz abhinav chose Ranbir not coz he suits the role or that he wud be able to carry it off well he chose RK just to spite Salman and show him that I can take anybody and make them a Superstar but what he failed to realize was that it was not Dabangg which made Salman the Superstar he is it was Salman the Superstar who made Dabangg what it is.

Its Ranbir's failure too. Its collecting less than YJHD which was a non-holiday release.

Besharam has had a good first day with collections looking to be around the 19.50 crore nett mark as per early estimates. The film has recorded extraordinary collections in Delhi NCR and East Punjab but the rest of the country ranged from very good to good.

The collections were not bad anywhere but at places they where not what they should be on a big holiday. Across Delhi NCR and East Punjab it recorded the second highest collections ever after Ek That Tiger but in some centres like CP Berar, Maharashtra and Gujarat the collections were in the same range as Grand Masti.

The film did see falls in collections in the evening and night shows at most places. On the face of it the 19.50 crore nett approx first day total is very good but considering how it started and the fact it was a big holiday the collections should have been more towards the 25 crore nett range rather than the 20 crore nett range. There will be a big drop today (Thursday) and the key for the film is how big will the drop be. If it was to go over 50% then the film could even struggle to be an average fare.

Omg you predicted right it only scored 19.5 !!

Making it the 5th highest holiday release so agneepath and bodyguard records intact as well!!

On topic IMO I enjoyed Dabangg the most among all of Salman's recent masala movies. Abhinav's touch was definitely there in the movie. Salman said in an interview that Abhinav's script was more like Anurag Kashyap's movies...they got him to commercialize it. We saw what happenned with Dabangg2 which was a complete Khandan movie.

When a movie works its a mixture of all elements coming together perfectly. Thats what happenned with Dabangg. Yes Salman was a biggest factor in its success. But Abhinav did give his contribution...maybe only 10% of the success can be attributed to him...but he has to get credit. Otherwise Prabhu Deva also gave a successful movie with Salman...but it was Dabangg which re-invented him.

As for Besharam right from the trailer it looked pathetic..added to that there was no hype, no decent music, no hot heroine and Ranbir hasnt got as much as starpower as Salman irrespective of what he wants us to believe. The constant comparisions with the Khans esp Salman, the Salman dissing by Abhinav added the burden of expectations on this movie.
