Could be true, but Anandi is the iconic character and they need to show growth in her character. She cannot remain stagnant in her personal life, always reacting or responding in the same pattern when it comes to atyachaar. They need to show that she has learnt from her past 'mistakes' and rather then being the bechari (passive) they need to show her proactive. She is now giving sermons to the common woman (Chanda) on how to take a lead and take charge of her life rather than leaving it all to 'kismet'. So Anandi needs to show this change/progress in her character too. Life experiences mould and change us. No one remains true to character forever. Anandi should have emerged stronger, more confident after her Jaan phase. But they are not showing this.

As I said earlier, perhaps Anandi is weak, I have read in forum that her time is over, now people want to see Jagya-Ganga. That reminds me to the fact that Anandi only gave lecture regarding security of women in some college, it was Ganga through whom creatives show how to react in real life situation.

Not just college, also in basti, with Chanda's neighbors. She was giving long sermons on what to do when their husbands trouble them. Anandi may be weak, what I am saying is that it's about time CV's showed growth in her character. Anandi is the iconic character not Ganga. Ganga doesn't go preaching to everyone on how to handle their domestic lives.

Agree, Ganga has been brought to show practical aspect, they will not make her go on preaching unlike Anandi. Perhaps they do not want to show any growth in Anandi's character.

See , its all this 'saasra' thing .

Anandi's saasra and how to keep it khush so things can be comfortable for Anandi is the theme of BV .

Now women watching all over must be given the message ...screw the saasra . If it is being a big thing of mental burden for the maika and the girl given there to make them happy ...simply chuck it .

U see , the girl is not given there to hear unfair blames , get treated like trash , stand with trays , and get occasional sex from husband when he is in Jhoom Jhoom mood . That does not uplift a woman neither is it concept of happiness .

So what if hubby is a handsome hunk and ur a divorcee ...does this mean u have to go on taking saasra's rubbish till a breaking point is found .

And btw WHAT is that breaking point .

And don't men have their saasras too . Does not Shiv have his saasra to which he can be answerable . Lord knows BV showed Jagya being answerable to his honewaala saasra . Why , the chap got slapped by his saasra . Full saasra ganged up on him like the saasra in The Godfather .

The best part of JAGAN marraige is ...Jagya won't have a saasra .

Every person is different and reacts to the situation in different ways.

Quitting sasuraal is not the solution to the problem, at least not at this stage.

Shiv is angry and ignoring anandi is due to his disappointment, anger and worry because of the broken alliance of his sister saanchi. But if shiv keeps the grudge longer then I will have a problem with him as he was supposed to be a rational thinker.😡

Ira also is thinking about the same and so are all the singhs. remember one thing, a daughter is a daughter even if she is a witch 😈and even though the Daughter in law is an absolute angel ⭐️. your own offspring would be your first priority during a disastrous situation.

Besides a 'bahu' is considered as an 'adult' who is understanding, matured and is always 'expected' to think rationally and in the interest of sasuraal wallahs - sad but true

Jagya was impulsive yes..instead of putting sindoor in ganga's hair, he would had expressed his love and sworn his life (kasam) to make her stay in jaitser. then when the shekhars arrived and started to apologize, he would had given the valid reasons and again rejected saachi's alliance. later on after saanchi issue would have been settled he would had approached dadisa and told his feelings for ganga.but because he put the vermillion in ganga's hair impulsively, he made things more difficult for ganga, himself and also anandi.

all in all at this stage anandi should just keep being the silent spectator and just ignore all the cold shouldering and wicked remarks of her sasuraal people and husband. But also know when to draw the line.

For example if Ira tries to take it out on anandi by making her life hell and torturing her in the shekhars household or trying to make her to go away from the shekhar house then, she should take a strong stand and not be a doormat. Just leave the house then.

I completely agree with you Kools but the thing is you make your maayka even more unhappy if you leave the saasra permanently and go back. So the married women at times think that if they keep on bearing all the illtreatment given by the saasra as long as they can to ensure that the marriage is not broken. because once the marriage is broken the maayka wala's are even more hurt and sad and still in majority of cases in India a divorced woman is a taboo and burden on the maayka people.

A woman is trapped this way and doomed.

also what I dont liek the the Jamai is given so much respect in his Saasra but teh bahu is treated as a doormat in her saasra...😡

The jamai hardly does anything for his in-laws but the bahu serves them like a slave..still she is mistreated

Very valid points. That's why I say the CVs should go against the grain. Show some courage by showing that staying in an abusive home just because of fear of repercussions is not the only solution.
When Ira told Anandi, you have to choose between the two families and break off permanently with the one you do not choose, I was aghast. How can a mother unilaterally decide to break up her son's marriage without consulting any of the other members of the family let alone the son. What was evenmore abhorrent was the fact that Daddu, Alok and shiv, quietly accepted her ultimatum. What if Dadisa has a heart attack at that moment and Aandi decided to just stay with her Maayka by default of circumstances. Would Alok, Daddu and Shiv have still quietly accepted the breaking of Shiv's marriage. Is it so run of the mill for them that it didn't even raise THEIR eyebrows?

Hey nikkie good to see you
If she goes back to BH and tell them about the insults she is been getting everyone will blame jagan again. It's better she leaves and goes back to teacherji. God I miss teacherji she was the only sensible person when others were acting as fools. Then shekhars can handle their spoilt brat. Wait until she shows her true colors. Sumi will thanking gods that this thing din come to BH

I'm not too sure about Anandi going back to BH, because that would rile up the Shekhars to no end 😆 but I do think that she is putting up with a lot of nonsense from her in laws and she shouldn't. There's no point teaching women of the village to fight for their rights when she cannot do it for herself. One must practice what they preach. Ira is blatantly blaming Anandi and Shiv's behaviour is rather shocking. Even if he is concerned for his sister, his silence upon seeing his wife cry and turning a blind eye to his mother's bullying tactics is quite frankly, outrageous. Anandi should go elsewhere, put together a plan to expose Sanchi's true face to all and not come back until Ira sincerely apologises to her. Although I don't really know how Ira's stinky attitude can even be forgiven.
