"A.S.R, today you don't have any shoot but there's one media interview and an appointment with Director Kartikey Mehra in relation with his new film, he want to fix date for the shoots with you and..."Aman Arnav's P.A dictated his schedule.

"Aman...Cancel all my appointments and meetings, I don't want to meet anyone today." Said Arnav while rolling his shirts sleeves.

"But A.S.R it has been fixed and it will not look nice to..."Aman tried to reason out.

"Aman! Didn't you hear what I said? I SAID CANCEL EVERYTHING!" Arnav barked.

"Okay...Ok... Done... I will postpone them for tomorrow!" Stammering Aman and ran out for his life.

4 days! 4 f**king days have passed since he has not talked to her. Leave that aside, not even had got a glimpse of her. What does a man, to be precise a husband and that to a guilty one would do when his wife is so damn hell bent on ignoring him and leaving him alone in his life to rot without her. Arnav had no clue. Not that he didn't tried reaching her after leaving her alone that night after her not so dramatic request.

That night after Khushi's blackmailed type of request he left her alone for some time, saying " I have always loved you Khushi and if this proves my love for you then so it be, you can be alone for sometime." And saying that with tears in his eyes and a chocking heart he left his lady love giving her some space alone for herself.

But he meant what he said, for sometime not for 4 days and that too without even her calling him and her not receiving his calls. This was not he meant Damn it!.

From that he has not heard from Khushi. In the night he has gone into a deep slumber while crying for almost half of the night. After Waking up in the morning the first thing he decided to do was calling her. And he did it only to be let his calls ignored by her and then with Aman eating up his head with all his shoots and appointments he did not got a chance to meet her. Coming in the night back to home he was hoping to see her back, okay not a smiling Khushi but an angry one. But he didn't got any. Therefore picking up his car keys he rushed towards the flat where she was staying now, only to find it locked and a Chinese looking watchman Nepali saying "Shaab ji! Madam toh 3 din ke liye Payal Memshab ke yahan gayi haiiin." With a long haiiin and in return of that not so good information demanding a photograph with him

And today she was coming back! After ignoring all his calls that he made to her. Even Payal was sounding a little surprised when he called her to ask about Khushi saying "What happened my hero? Is your heroine not picking up your phone that you are calling me about 15^th time today?" she chuckled.

"No Payal di, it's just that she is angry with me and..." Arnav said.

"Oh that's it? Arnav then there's nothing to worry as we all know how much my darling is in love with you and there's no way she will not talk to you." Payal said with confidence and Arnav sighed knowing what is in store for him now.

So today as she is coming back finally, he has cancelled all his work so that he could meet her and not give her any chance to ignore him and was now heading towards her Bandra's flat knowing very well that she will not come home. He was wearing that white crisp cotton shirt gifted by her and which she liked very much on him, he knew it now and he knew it then also but at that time he chose to ignore.

"Arnav! Why don't you wear that white shirt?" she asked chirply holding his hand while he was getting ready for his shoot.

"What the hell Khushi?" he pushed her hands aside and said "I am getting late here and you... you only remember that boring white shirt? Huh? You know what you can never understand my taste, because you are not a superstar and never will be in next 7 lives, but I am and I have to wear clothes according to my stylist not according to my middle class wife! That shirt is not even branded for god sake!" he said rudely leaving a dumb Khushi with teary eyes.

"I am sorry...Sorry Arnav!" she said not meeting his eyes.

"Whatever! It's okay! I am leaving now and don't wait for me at lunch." He said and pecking her on her cheeks started his day.

"Arey! Bahadur? How are you?" came a chirping voice.

"Memshaab! I am fine and you?" said bahadur the watchman, taking the bag from her hands.

"I am also fine and your child? He had fever na?" she asked concerned and opening the lock.

"Aapki kripa hai memshaab! If you have not given me the money that day, I don't know how would I have got him treated. Thanks a lot memshaab!" he said gratefully.

"Thanks? Okay so can you please do me favour in return?" she asked.

"Yes! Anything..." he replied.

"Then please bring me a bread and a butter packet as nandu kaka has directly left for his village from there and there's no food at home!" she said making a sad face and entering the house with bahadur behind her with her bag.

"Why not! Why not! When bahadur is here not to fear!" he said getting out and Khushi laughed closing the door.

"Arey shaab ji aap?" came bahadur's voice from outside taking Khushi's attention "Memshaab has just arrived." The man in concern must have said something very slowly to which bahadur replied "Okay okay shaabji! Done" and with that he was gone.

Ting tong.

Khushi sighed opening the door.

"Arnav?" she asked in shock evident in her voice.

Arnav turned to face her with two large packet in his hand and a big smile intact on his face saying "Hi Baccha!" and entering the house not before pecking her cheeks lightly.

"What are you doing here?" she asked still recovering from the peck.

"I am fine and you?" he replied after putting the packets on the table.

Arnav deliberately pulled his collar up, then down, then again the same so that Khushi could notice what he was wearing, he wanted her to see that he was wearing what she liked on him. He wanted her to feel that he cares now.

"Arnav what's this? And why..." she said now in frustrated at his everything-is-normal-between-us behaviour and simply ignoring the white shirt.

"Hey! I know you are hungry now? Aren't you?" he said laying the packets on the table disappointed at her ignorance.

"What is this Arnav?" she asked again confused.

"Food baccha!" he replied.

"What?" she asked again.

"Food ! Something that is meant for us to eat and satisfy our hunger!" he said now amused.

"I know that! " came her irritated reply.

"Great then let's eat! You know, since you have gone I didn't got anytime to eat nicely! My shoots and meetings but today is a day OFF! For you and with you!" he said pulling out a chair for her.

S he glanced at him as if he had grown two horns on his head and now stumped her foot in irritation and said " you know what! There's no need for this! I have told bahadur to bring bread and butter from the market!"

"And I have told him not to bring!" he replied now hogging the food in front him "Yummy! This chilly paneer is so tasty! Have a bite!" he said offering to Khushi to which she turned her head away.

"Common Khushi! Don't be angry on this food and sit down and eat it like a good girl." He said his last words like a command.

Khushi looked at Arnav and then at the food.

Food or Arnav?

Hunger or anger?

She thought and then chose the former of the both, Food and hunger.

Arnav and anger can be dealt later on.

The lunch was a quite affair from Khushi's side but from Arnav it was a debate with him talking all the time and wanting Khushi's answers but getting only monosyllables reply that too very rarely.

After the lunch Khushi brought a glass of Luke warm water for Arnav as always. It was his daily routine to have warm water after oily food to keep his body fit and fine.

Settling herself in front of the sofa where Arnav was sitting, busy with his phone she said "your water!"

And that is when Arnav raised his head to look at her and said "Thanks!" with a very bright smile that would have been enough to light a whole town. She remembers and she cares, he thought.

"So you didn't tell me that you were going to Payal di's place" he asked.

"Does it matter?" she asked.

"Off course! I am your husband Khushi!" he said.

"Arnav!" she said shaking her head in negation.

"Yes?"

"What...what about the divorce?" she asked plainly.

"Divorce? I thought we were off that matter!" he replied his voice chocking again.

"No we were not, and I mean it when I say we are over." She said.

"Khushi, baby please don't say this! Please give me a chance to prove my love please!" he pleaded.

"Why are you doing this Arnav?" she said "Please give me divorce, please make me free, I want to live my life happily, you know I can't be a part of you world and you will always have to suffer because of me!" she said.

"Yes you are right! You can never be a part of my world because you are my world Khushi! I know I hurt you a lot, I disrespected you, I cheated you and acted like a jerk but please give me chance to love you once again and I promise I will love you always. When this black hair is white, I will still love you. When the smooth softness of youth is replaced by the delicate softness of age, I will still want to touch your skin. When your face is full of the lines of every smile you have ever smiled, of every surprise I have seen flash through your eyes, when every tear you have ever cried has left its mark upon your face, I will treasure you all the more, because I was there to see it all. I will share your life with you, Khushi, and I will love you until the last breath leaves your body or mine." He said with tears in his eyes.

"But please, please give you stupid husband a chance! Please! One chance! Only one!" he pleaded.

"Not more Arnav, you must be a great actor, but I am not." she said.

"You think this is an act, my love is an act that I am acting?" he asked in disbelief and hurt.

"Yes!" cam her reply "And I know the reason also why are you doing all this...now!" she said hurt reflecting her eyes.

"I am doing this because I love you and I have realised my mistake!" he said now crying a bit at her thought.

"No... you are doing this because..."
