It is clear now that this show is not typical IPK show - its about men dominating women in every form.

We have Shlok's brother who knows what happens in his house but choses to be ignorant or not to interfere.

Then we have Abhay who abuses his wife and forces her to get an abortion because he only wants daughters.

Niranjan uses mental abuse and manipulates Anjali to get things done.

Shlok is now pushing and pulling Astha and has even slapped her. The ex girlfriend is winning and Shlok is losing - he just hasnt realised that yet - he is taking all of his hatred from Swati and shows it at Astha instead. Maybe because Astha is making him feel again epspecially making him fall in love again. However he is the hero so he will one day regret and make sure nothing and noone harms her.

I do trust the CVs and they must have thought about the storyline hard and long. I will continue to watch the show and hope that Astha behaves like a modern woman who wont stand for any of these. She has to either slap Shlok back or ignore him completely.

In a way I am glad this show portrays MANY different forms of abuse. At least now some women can understand that just being physically hit is not the only form of abuse. VErbal abuse is just as bad and at times more damaging.

I agree she should either slap him or ignore him, I'd hate for her to be okay and normal with him after this and I'd hate for her to justify the slap the same way she justified the man handling.

I hope she realizes enough is enough and doesn't put up with it and puts her foot down and draws the line. He can't slap her and think its okay and get away with it and think everything can go back to normal after that, Astha needs to make him realize that slapping her or being forceful with her isn't okay and she won't put up with it.

Exatly physical abuse is not the only form of abuse in the society and can be harder to heal than outer scars.

I really hope that is what they are trying to convey...altho going by th saas bahu saga's running on the prime time slots, I seriously have reservations!

If a man was to EVER lift a finger on me...I Would NEVER forget..nor let them forget...Irrelevant of whether it's my family...

Yet Somewhere I agree that although the physical abuse gradually disappears with the bruise eventually...But Mental abuse Kills the person thoroughly, inside and out ie Anjali...I have a question...Do the audience actually understand what the cv's r portraying? Or they're just here for 21mins of entertainment?
