Aren't we to be blamed for corruption?

Think about it guys. You go to pay stamp duty for your house. It'll be a stamp duty of say Rs. 50,000 but the clerk keeps you hanging, dosen't process your paper. Someone tells you to pay Rs. 10,000 extra. You pay the extra money and your papers are ready in a hour.

^^This is just one example of how we feed corruption. i know its hard to get your work done faster without taking this wrong path, but we are to be blamed, aren't we?

Or we give in to corruption because without it you cannot get any work done today? Is it a necessity to indulge in it? Do you think its possible to eradicate corruption? If we are the culprits why do we crib?

Very well said!! We really dont have any right to blame the government or the corrupt ppl because we are the ones who encourage them. You think, if this person is doing something wrong and getting away without, why not me? And this thinking would drown us all one day!

Well yes in organisations its needed. But in real life too, if you want your passport soon, you've got to pay up, and the bribes are endless. I just feel so sad about the situation. I know we shouldn't give into these bribes, but that seems like the only way.

IMO both the Govt. and the people of our country are to be blamed. Govt. because it doesn't have any proper facility to lodge complaints and now that some facilities are provided they seldom take notice of the complaints that are being lodged. People, for the simple reason that we have failed to unite and fight against corruption even after so many years.

if we give it, why wont the govt take it? it makes sense rite? 😛
and just one eg here, i'm in skool, and the other day,we returned pretty late from a trip and we were damn hungry. since we'd finished our food we went to the canteen and sked the guy 2 give us sum food. the canteen's closed during classes but the guy jus gt the boys in our class to give him double the money n he handed us the food. i mean, i know it sounds stupid and insane but its kinda wats leading up to the big picture isn't it?

Its not corruption.. its a premium of convenience.. and corruption is not all that wrong... The problem is corrupt people not doing their job due to this easy income.. if you are corrupt but do your job.... there is nothing wrong with it...

Dont you pay a additional premium here for buying tickets on ticket master...or expedited processing.. Is there anything that changes from operational perspective - no - all that happens is they pull out your file from below the heap and process it for you instantly for that processing charge .. so whereas india has individual corruption - here it like corporate and government level corruption...😆
