Agree with your post. Felt really bad for Jodha today😭. Though she has been wrong too in not understanding Jalal, I feel such a personal matter should have never been discussed in court. She was left with no other choice after being ridiculed in such a manner.

yes i agree with u but still i think this desnt need a public announcement n shud b sorted privately. This humiliation cannot be tolerated even by 16th century woman let alone a princess.

i felt bad for when esp when jalal said that he wont let her humilaite mughal sultanat like that...

I also felt bad for her because at that moment she feels she was unwanted in both Amer and Agra..😭

I am not debating about who is right or wrong here..but royal affairs would have been discussed in court...not behind closed doors like a family meeting today...it is the merger/disintegration of two cities/states...its a political issue... not just two people involved here...if it was a major thing equivalent to the 'Talaaq' obviously a court would have to be summoned to it...😕 there were different kinds of courts for discussing different things...this must have been a private court called Diwaan-e-khaas (thanks to khush for raking my memory!)

exactly my thoughts. i did 😭 too when mainavati did not accept to take her back but especially when she said in front all. although, somethings that mainazati said jodha should work on her marriage was right bit blaming her completely for this marriage and saying what they lost was wrong bec it was them who forced jodha.

But It was jodha's decision to leave agra...her husband never asked her to leave for amber Jalal only gave her option to choose. He even tried to make her stay pleasant in the last two days allowed her to play hoki (BR]
Though marriage is personal Jodha-Jalal marriage is political alliance which is subject of deewan e khaas as leaving is nullifying marriageR]

Even I felt bad for Jodha when menavathi rejected her publicly...still I loved menavathi for trying to mirror the flaws of jodha. Though she stayed as true rajputani queen...I wish she spoke to her daughter in private.

But this public rejection is needed to bring the suicide track and to move further
