True LoveChapter 17
Antara opened the door ready to blast at whoever was on the other side, but her mouth hanged open upon seeing Dhruv and Yash on the other side. After few minutes she asked, "Why are you two killing my doorbell?"
"So that you will be quick to open up the door," Yash said pushing his way in.
Antara starred after him, "Rude much, is this how you walk in to someone's house?"
Yash scoffed, "This is not someone's house. It is your house."
"Right, indicating that this is not your house." Antara stepped aside and Dhruv walked in. Closing the door after him she continued, "And I thought you were angry at me."
"I am and still am."
Dhruv rolled his eyes at his best friends and interrupted, "You forgot to mention that Ishika is Kalika Dhanrajgir's daughter."
That seemed to grab her attention. Antara jerked her head towards Dhruv and back to Yash. She starred at them dumbfounded; she didn't know how to react or what to say. Both the boys starred at her indicating they are waiting on her to say something.
Finally she opened her door and said, "Get out."
"What?" Dhruv was the first one to react.
Antara squeezed her eyes shut for a brief second. She hated doing this, but she didn't seem to have any other option. "You heard me. Out. Now."
"Way to treat your best friends," Yash snorted with anger clearly audible in his eyes.
Antara looked at Dhruv, but didn't dare to look towards Yash. His tone was loud and clear on what was going in through him. Clearly neither of the three had thought that a day would come when Antara would be telling them to get out of her house in such manner.
More shocking to the boys was that they had not even done anything wrong. They would have been alright with her attitude if they had driven her to it, but this was out of limits. Both stood their ground, neither moving.
After ten whole minutes, Antara slammed the door shut. "Fine, stay where you are; I will just pretend that I am the only one in the house," saying so she walked into her room and closed the door behind her.
Yash and Dhruv exchanged a glance and shrugging their shoulders went into the living room and made themselves comfortable on the couches. If Antara was stubborn then they were her best friends.
After couple of minutes they looked up when they heard Antara's voice yell out through the door. "What in the world do you mean by that?"
Both of them knew she was not yelling out to them, they didn't even have to guess on who she could be talking with. There was only one person missing from the conversation, Ishika. So, clearly it was her on the other end of the line.

Antara opened her door and walked straight towards the front door and opened it as soon as the door bell rang.
"I take it you were really waiting for me."
Antara gave her you - think look and pulled her inside. Taking her hand she led her friend towards her room.
Ishika eyed the boys in the living room and looked at Antara, "You didn't tell me they were still here."
"Ignore them, they are just being arrogant."
The boys gasped, how in the world where they the ones being arrogant. Ishika shook her head, not sure of what happened in the house before Antara called her and demanded for her to come over.
The boys heard Ishika tell Antara, "I should not be here. This is going to land us both in big trouble," right before Antara closed the door to her room on the boys, yet again.
It was only five minutes since they walked into the room, and Ishika opened the door. Antara walked out behind her, "I am sorry I should have told you before."
Ishika turned around and glared at her best friend. When she told Antara that she has a feeling that Kalika was trying to keep her away from Antara and her family, she learned that Antara was not at all surprised. Leading to Ishika learning her aunt's real nature, more over the incident that took place in Mystic caf triggered by her favorite aunt, Kalika sent Ishika to her highest level of anger.
Now she clearly understood Kalika's attitude towards her. It was clear. My aunt does not like me. In fact she despises me so much to make my life intolerable in this new town. It's been one and half week since she came and her aunt had already decided that she hated Ishika.
"Ishika listen to me. That happened more than three years ago and I didn't want you to have any grudge against her because of me or my family."
"AT, your family is my only family left. The only reason I moved here is because Aalekh uncle called me and begged for me to come here. If I am to be kept away from the very same people because of whom I am here, then its better I go back to Manali."
"Don't say that, you really don't want to go back," Antara said in a low voice, still loud enough for every one to hear it.
Ishika turned towards the boys, "Get out."
Yash and Dhruv got up and gaped at her. First Antara, now Ishika. What in the world was going on over here? All they had done was come over to ask Antara on why she didn't tell them who Ishika really was.
Ishika sighed and controlling her anger she said in a much calmer manner, "Please this is my personal life and I would not want to talk about in front of... well you guys or anyone else."
Dhruv and Yash nodded, feeling hurt but still walked out towards the door.
"Ishk, don't leave me like the way I left you. We were kids then, I didn't have any option. But you do, please stay."
Yash opened the door on that note, no matter how much he acted like he didn't care in front of Antara, but deep inside he cared. He cared for her like no one else and he understood this was the matter he would have to keep shut until she decides to share it with him.
Dhruv walked out behind him, as much as he was angry at Antara for leaving him out, he was some where angrier at Ishika for saying she didn't want to share her personal life with him. He knew they were just becoming friends, but still it hurt and made him angry at both the girls.
He was right. Ishika's entrance had really shaken everyone's life in more than one way.
