Anju,
At the cost of raising many eyebrows here, I'd say that I have a feeling that EBP, although having a strong concept and a fantastic star cast, is actually taking a cue or two from season one. I know it's a forbidden territory but please hear me out. EBP has so far added a lot of novel and refreshing Aastha-Shlok scenes but yet they have bought quite a few things from the earlier season. Right from the first confrontation at an event (remember season one had a similar event thing right in the first epi) "to dupatta stuck in the car", "seatbelt scene", "leads locked in one room" - can you sense the similarity? Season one saw the guy getting attracted to the girl when he sees her in a saree and you see the same happening in EBP as well...of course, they won't hijack the whole thing so they have come up with their own modifications but the basics are the same... so i am totally enjoying all the concepts which they have borrowed from previous season...totally new for me...but if i had seen the first season..even then it would not have made any diff as i watch serials just for pure entertainment now...no emotional attachment..watch if they make you dream othewise change channel...learned it hard way though
You know i have no idea about the first episode..never seen even a single episode..i was so madly in love with DMg at one time that when Shilpa left i was actually in hibernation for almost a month...lol ...later i decided not to get involved with love stories anymore...but few months back got hooked to Saraswatichandra and now IPKKND- IKP
and about hijacking part all the channels do that only...soe openly ..some subtly. All I am trying to say is that there are similarities and there's no harm in having them as long as the makers tell their own story through these sequences. That's exactly what we have been getting so far with superb direction, camera work, excellent leads and mysterious family members. Hence the liking for the show. But because of this uncanny similarity with season one somewhere, I feel that the leads won't get married too soon because after marriage you can't have a Mills and Boons style of romance and hate - Marriage leads to an inevitable proximity between the leads and many feel that sort of takes away the sparks that arise out of their nok-jhoks and confrontation. Chasing your loved one, roothna-manana all of this has a different kind of charm before marriage.
Agreed that married couples dont generate that kind of attraction but maybe this time they change but even i am in favour of prolonging the love before marriage...shaddi ke baad to sab boring boring...touch kiss doesnt mean anything for viewers...lolSecondly, Shlok's GF will play an important role just like it happened in season one IMO. Certain things in love stories never change and an alive GF making an entry at a crucial time always results in interesting twists. Thirdly, I also feel at some point the makers would work more on Abhay's character to show us his real dark side and he will play an important part in moving the story forward just like it happened in season one with their "jamai ji". I am happy that in this show they've given us an extra dimension in terms of a character like NA who is powerful, mysterious and most likely a shameless manipulator. And the wifey is no less, communicating less with words and more with eyes, hiding a past with NA which all of us would like to know more about, In a nutshell, this show has a lot to offer in terms of a power-packed drama and so far the going has been really good. I really hope apart from Shlok-Aastha's love chemistry, they start unraveling Shlok's past also layer by layer.
Abhay looks interesting...Shloks sisters have to come as well...NA...hmmm i always have doubt about him..sometimes i feel CVS are misguiding us and he might turn out to be good guy...waise ganje hamesha villian he hote hai...so take him shady for time being 😆.Anjali is also mysterious women...i want Sojal to revolt as well,,,... plus that chacha in the house...he looks the most interesting of the lot...but i want love scene everyday..no matter what...pleaseeeApologies for the long post, Anju, but I was meaning to write my thoughts on this aspect of the show for quite some time.
dont say apologies just say
