Rads, that is one brilliant write up. Honestly girl, your WU's were flawless. Why aren't you doing them anymore? i dont even bother reading WUs anymore on this forum..they seem so partial to me :/ I wish you come back to updating them, cause you are so honest and fair about each WU..and that's how they should be written anyway, so that members who just follow the show through WU's, have a clear picture as to what's going on in the show 😊

As for the track, its not at all interesting me. Like you said, its like makers are serving old wine in a new bottle. Boring and repetitive indeed Haven't we had enough KiSha MU's, RanSh fights and ego clashes, Avi-Omi wars? Why aren't the makers thinking out of the box? Like the stalker track was applaud-worthy. NOT because it was a KiSha centric track like some people would term it to be, but because it was UNUSUAL. And relatable with real life situations and incidents. Sadly, fans of the show don't see it that way..

Idk why am i even still watching TBP. All i know is that i'm way too attached to the show and characters..more than tough for me to quit it..Hope the makers realise that this show can be portrayed so beautifully, but the wars and ego clashes have become a daily routine in TBP.. Hate to say this..but its true 😕

Honestly, Radhi! Do give it a try! I've seen the 26th and 27th September episodes and they were really good! Not saying that the election idea is any original, but overall the way characters are being handled, it's a pretty well done job! For the first time, they are properly pinpointing Kd's weakness, his low self esteem in regards to money (which I'm sure will be a learning point for him by the end of this track), then we also see Kd wanting to change things in college. Even though I don't agree with his cctv idea because here in my university, we don't have such cctvs and I don't think I would feel comfortable if we did, but even then I admire that he is the one who thought of standing up for whatever he believed in! I admire that he actually understood that there can be healthy competition, though his insecurities are keeping him from fully living up to that statement, but still the fact that he thought that actually is right on!

Rv also is not okay with running for election against his friends, somewhere he is still not comfortable with it, but since Kd chose to do it, somewhere he felt hurt and then also decided to run for it. Rv and Kd are two different people who grew up with very different environment, so it is very understandable that their stance towards such issues will be different, too. and there is nothing wrong with that, we are seeing a realistic rift in their ideologies and how they both will overcome it, or suffer through rifts because of it. and as for kiya, I think she is being truly intelligent for the first time! She chose to stand up for what she believed in and she was mature enough to go to Kd and tell him why she was going to join rv's team. she handled this like a mature adult who is capable of running after her own goals as well as maintaining her relationship on the side. As for rukmini, the same thing applies to her for standing by her principles, but I haven't seen much of veeni in these last two episodes to comment much on them. Panchi is supporting Rv because she supports Rv's agenda like kiya, while piddhi is standing by Kd because he always is by Kd's side.

Overall speaking, I think so far this track has been brilliantly handled, with character's weaknesses and strengths highlighted in the right way. We are getting some brilliant scenes since this track started, I especially loved the ransh scene from 26th September where Rv and Kd meet after they both put in their name for running in the elections. You could see the tension between them even when they were trying to convince each other that everything is okay.

so far, I'm loving it! and I'm sure if you watch the two episodes, you will like it, too. :))

@Shails, i agree with you mostly. This track is being handled well, but the fact is that the makers have nothing new to offer anymore. Its boring to see these tracks again and again. The only difference is that Kiya and Rukmini aren't supporting their boyfriends. Not a big Rukmini fan, so not going to comment on her, but as a KiSha fan and supporter i am not at all supporting Kiya's "ideologies". Yes okay RV is right in a way about CCTV cameras, but Kiya is more worried about her private moments being hampered? Really? First and foremost, there is something called discipline in an academy or university, why would anyone as a matter of fact (KiSha, VeeNi, ViChi) get cosy in public anyway? Why can't the makers show some sort of realistic tracks wherein CCTV cameras should be placed in "important" spots and NOT all over the college. Kiya was the one in a problem with Joshua, so whatever KD/Omi have decided is for the benefit of the students. So i was expecting Kiya to support KD, its sure nice to see her making independant decisions and standing up for herself but NOT at the cost of hurting her very own KD, who thinks of her first always..
Sorry for the rant, as a KiSha fan. This track is super disappointing :/

Great WU Rads!
I really am fed up of the same clashes.
I would love to see Avi and Omi vs RanSh or New Buddies vs Old Buddies. Now that would be new to me. Otherwise, it feels repititive to me.

As for the track, before it being repetitive, I look at how it's affecting the characters, at the end of it all, I care about character development. and this track is going to provide some serious character development for ransh! The whole hunky dory ransh never went down with me because their relationship still needs to develop more and go through greater hurdles to become stronger, so I count this as their real first hurdle that will truly strengthen their relationship. It will tackle their weaknesses and show how it affects their relationship. but when at the end of it all, they overcome it, that's when it will be truly gratifying for me to see their relationship! and overall, I'm just happy to see that every character is being involved in this track, cvs are being fair for once.

as for kiya, I actually support her. I understand your point about kd being worried for her. Kd thinks cctvs are a good idea, but kiya doesn't think so. It's her opinion, she is a girl that doesn't want to be watched in college, even if kd thinks it's important for her safety. I'm not sure if you remember, but when they were in school and when banga installed cctvs, kiya got so upset that she broke down infront of rv saying, I don't get freedom at home and now even in school, with these cctv cameras, I won't get freedom. was she with kd then? No! but, she still didn't like the idea of cctvs! It's something she is not comfortable with, so just because kd thinks it is right, she should force herself to support his idea? In a relationship, you don't always have to agree! You will have different opinions, therefore you will have to talk it out like adults. and kiya did exactly that! she went up to kd and told him why she couldn't support him, she made him understand her point of view! and she also promised Rv that she will keep her professional life separate from personal, so after doing all that, I think she has acted like a mature adult. A boyfriend is important, but you should also respect your opinions and beliefs and stand up for them. Being in love doesn't mean you blindly follow what your partner does, I think kiya understands why Kd thinks cctvs are important, but she doesn't agree with it! So, as a human being, she does have a right to disagree and I think as a girlfriend, she has done everything that ensures her relationship with Kd doesn't get affected. It's because Kd is a little insecure that such misunderstandings are happening, but this again is a realistic hurdle in their relationship. With two of them coming up from such diverse backgrounds, this was bound to happen, therefore cvs are handling the kisha track in a right way this time.

Sorry Rads. I guess this time our thoughts aren't in tantem :p

First of all the, CCTV business. Personally, I thought it was a great way to show how the smallest of tiffs can escalate into the biggest of rivalries. Maximum times, the reason for a huge fight is some kind of a small argument. The fact that Imperial is a media college doesn't have anything to do with it having/not having a CCTV unit. Not all big schools & colleges have them. I study in one of the biggest schools in THE most unsafest city in India, & we don't have one. As far as Royal is concerned, honestly I fully atest to the fact that I could be wrong because it was so long ago, but werent the cameras installed when Banga became Princi. Even that time the Buddies felt suffocated by the cams, & so they broke them in retaliation. I don't remember there being CCTVs during Banga ki Pungi or any of their other pranks when Rama Sir was Princi.

Old wine in new bottle? I actually look at in another way. S2 started off with a BANG with the theme of Cs vs Ds, in short, Avi & Omi's rivalry, & RanSh's first test of friendship - that off them overcoming their egos, their clashing personalities & ideologies. And that was what was shown uptil the Good Samaritan Challenge was ANNOUNCED. Uske baad? Where did this track go? It basically was left hanging in thin air, while we were subjected to around two months of 20 min per epi look look hawa hawa, & thus a stagnant love track, a ridiculously lacklustre love confession, Buddies acting like a bunch of jokers with no aim in life other than matchmaking, certain individuals who had no interests other than coochie cooing, an extremely loud, OTT, hindi film style stalker track & other ridiculousness. Sorry if I sound harsh, but the bitterness from those months is way too much😳.

But NOW, FINALLY, the show is back on track with its original theme of S2, the one left incomplete, the one which started out amazing & fizzled into saccharine sweetness & hunky doryness in every way. The RanSh tiff - I had made peace when it happened, but like a lot of other things in TBP that time, I was not conpletely satisfied with the KiShaRa patchup. They had so much hurt, so many UNADRESSED issues, such less convos or realisations or confrontations, but suddenly one day they start hugging & singing "I love you, you love me, we are a happy family" ? 😳. Truth is that, unlike the way the new writer had been portraying them, RanSh are actually two individuals with different ideologies & personalities. I see this track as the first big test which will bring them closer to being bonded as friends for life. I am sorry, but I dont see helping one get a GF as such a factor. The only difference this time around is that its become KD's test this time, atleast at this point . we don't know how the campaigning process will affect RV in the future. I see a whole lot of scope for KD, as an individual, to have a good character development track, & I couldn't ask for more.

KiSha...no, I wouldn't say its the same thing. The whole breaking up over stupid things & hugging the next day & making up was repetitive, but I personally feel that this ain't the same. Its a clash of ideologies this time, something which we haven't seen in KiSha before, & something which I find a much better reason for a tiff between a couple of KiSha's calibre, rather than over KD forgetting Kiya's bday. This, & a Kiya track centred around her NOT being the damsel in distress, & rather an individual doing something for herself are two things for which I have been yearning since AGES.

And I really don't see anything wrong with Kiya supporting RV. CCTV cameras DO make students uncomfortable, even in the real world. I myself would have been if they were in my school, & not because I want to romance my BF. Who says they are Kiya's only reasons to not support CCTVs? When she says they are an infringement to her privacy, that doesn't mean she only means romancing KD. Ab aise mein if she sees defence classes, which IS an important lesson & more useful in the OUTSIDE world, as something which makes her feel safer, & decides to support it, then whats wrong in it? Saying that it was ok for Kiya to have her own thoughts, but that she should support KD to not hurt him is just a roundabout way of saying that she should support KD, even if she has different thoughts, just because he is her boyfriend, ignoring her own ideologies 😳

VeeNi tiff isn't really a highlighted track, so it doesn't really affect the overall track too much. Haan...if this leads to some RV-Ruku-Panchi development, toh baat alag hai.

Basically, I love this track because, this is by far the best S2 track after Panchi's Ms Vista one. I love it because those promising beginnings, which had been left midway, are being revived & continued again, because after months we finally have a track, which involves all the Buddies, & their viewpoints & involves a proper issue rather than just revolving around love tracks, because I see in it ample scope for great char dev for BOTH KD & Kiya individually, because this is the best KiSha track IMO, this season, ever since they stopped fighting, it is going like all I wanted, touchwood. Because JeeMi are being portrayed the way I had wanted them in the beginning of S2, grey shaded characters, trying to use RanSh as pawns in their game against each other, because I see the old TBP again & because all of the above are the things which I have been screaming for since the past two months.

On the contrary, CVs finally got some sense back. I won't say much because Pix and Shazzy have echoed my thoughts perfectly.

Rads I can never say that I'm disagree with u..😳
In the beginning When I read there will be an election track..
My reaction was Like "ELECTIONS/ POLITICS" 😕🤔
I never like politics..
Yeah I saw so Much discussions on Fb.
But for me that was no use b/c I'm no interested in the track yaar 😆
CCTV cameras. Ur point made me realize to think on that.
Itne baray colg mai CCTV camera hi nahi 😲
One thing I want to say here. On fb n TBP also I saw most of the people agree with RV on that CCTV camera that b/c of camera they can't get privacy. And on the second thought that prize rate they agree with KD But they all want to support RV.. I mean ap ek ki ek baat se agree karte ho aur dosre ki ek baat se aur ap support ek ko karte ho 😕 I can't understand this. Same happens in TBP Kiya was agree with RV's thought for CCTV camera but she din't say anything about prize rate.. And she want to support RV. I'm confused with this. Logic shmjh nahi ayi...
U'r right they are serving us old wine in now bottle...
And I'm not liking this track. And I said that also.
U know that why I'm watching this show.
Maybe If I was a TBP watcher only then I also quit this show in the start of S2.
But I'm still watching this show. 😊

Just curious, if what and how CVs are showing whatever they are which, as you claim, is repetitive and un-TBP like then what wpuld be new and very TBP like track?
