She didn't really post the letter .. she just wrote it and was not sure if she should post it .. she even mentioned that she might just keep it with her and read it later in life ,, and even if she would have posted, he didn't really go to his office to check for letters

It was more like, he didn't really need a letter from her to realize that he should meet her

He didn't really know that she was planning to leave for Bhutan that day but co-incidentally, he was going to meet her the same day

The optimist in me is sure that they would meet because the dabbawala used to return her dabba around the same time as her daughter came back from school. So, even after her daughter comes back, she still has to get her ready and do the normal last minute stuff. In the meantime, Saajan would definitely reach her home and hence, they will meet. Ding Ding!

BTW, when she took out her jewels at night (before leaving for Bhutan), for a minute, I seriously got depressed thinking that she was planning to commit suicide .. OMG OMG ..

Also, Irfan's name Saajan ... haha .. I found it soo funny when Ila asks aunty to play the songs from Saajan movie .. ❤️🤪
