Miss World 2013 tonight!

Gear up for the much awaited pageant of the year Miss World 2013'. The official channel to broadcast this show is Zee Caf, the pageant can be seen in India on September 28th, 5:30 pm.

Our very own Miss India World Navneet Kaur Dhillon will be participating to win back the title. This beautiful girl is Pond's Femina Miss India World 2013 - she hails from Patiala, Punjab. Her hobbies are swimming, horse-riding & photography. She is talented and right now enjoying every bit of her life at Bali Indonesia with fellow contestants where they are preparing for the final night.

She loves dance and acting and is quiet open about the fact of joining Bollywood like earlier winners. Looks like Navneet doesn't hesitates to admit her dreams of becoming a starlet unlike many Miss India's who initially promise to work as social workers or pursuing their studies but eventually land up into stardom for quick fame and money.

While most past Miss India contestants chose to dance at the pageant's talent round, the 20-year-old wants to do something different. Acting on stage is definitely on her mind.

"I dance, but I am not a professional dancer. I would rather act. I might go for a Charlie Chaplin act. It will be more about expressions and no words. It would be that or something on similar lines," said Dhillon.

She wants to go with some prior training to make the act perfect. We really appreciate her hard work, don't we?

Dhillon is trying her best to increase her chances of bringing back the coveted crown to the country after 12 years. Priyanka Chopra, now a successful National Award winning Bollywood actress, last won the Miss World pageant for India way back in 2000. It's been 12 years now and India should definitely win it back.

She is leaving no stone unturned to bring back the glory. From makeup, fitness, diction and even her catwalk, Dhillon is being trained by some of the country's leading names to put her best foot forward at the international platform.

She was crowned as the Femina Miss India World 2013 on 24 March 2013. Navneet was also crowned Femina Miss Timeless Beauty. She was faced with a question of what her one regret would be if she were to die the following day, to which she very well replied as"The only thing I would regret would be not having done as much for society as I would like to. Issues of women's empowerment and child labour and other social evils are a big concern."
