Ok, so I haven't seen last night's episode yet; but from the discussions I gathered that Gauhar and Kushal were sent to Heaven thanks to some last-minute machinations by Gauhar, and Apurva did not suggest his own name (correct me if I am wrong). Considering that it would have been sheer torture 😉 for the Pati-Patni to be away from each other, and considering that Apurva's entry in Heaven would have given the power of one more vote to Shilpa, why did Apurva not cross over?

My suggestion: He wants to keep himself in the way of being evicted, so that he can go home and spend a couple of weeks in peace before wifey joins him. 😛😆

every contestant knows that apu-shilpa a team so just think who ever dont like shilpa will be against apu too , so if shilpa is in heaven side & apu is in hell side , then they will nominate apu. If shilpa cant trust anyone in the hell side in terms of giving inside information then how can she trust that no one will nominate apu ,for me which is more important.

Exactly. Armaan is clearly against Shilpa, so he CAN nominate Apurva. Anita will follow his lead. Rajat, chalo, he is expected to go out soon. Even Tanisha can do what Armaan tells her to do. That's already three people nominating Apurva.

There is another point: if all people in hell love Shilpa, why didn't they unanimously nominate Apu so that he could join his wife in heaven?
