I completely agree with Hema that the lead has been changed
Its not Anandi or Ganga or even Shiv ...its Saanchi
the amount of screen space she gets is unbelievable
i have been observing it for a long time
JAGAN story is handled haphazrdly and in rushed way .
Jagya rushed afterher on the rainy nite she left haveli .
Nothing after that after viewers curiosity was peaked .
No romantic saving , dialogue NOTHING .
Jagya goes to meet Ganga after 6 months
no talk shown , no anger on Jagya's face shown after hearing of rape attempt
how will he set her free in just 1 episode , which too is hogged by the irritating Shekhars
2 rape attempts were shown
Saanchi's
Ganga's
How much screen space Saanchi's got
Jagya dealing with those boys
giving Saanchi his coat
talking to her in the car
bringing her home
Jagya even once standing up for her outside
Ganga is his love
yet ...NOTHING .
As Libra says BV is actually showing a real life situation here and it needs proper closure .
Wardboys DO rape nurses on night duties ...the statistics is very high . The Nurses Union has been dealing with this ineffectively for years . They r in great danger . If BV can show an entire episode on Delhi rape case because it is a social service wake up call to all urban women out there , this too is a serious social issue . Whats more , this cause is woven very well as a story in the serial itself .
Besides commercially too it was good for the serial . Jagya angering as the story was told by Ganga in flashback , Jagya beating Bala up , exposing him by making inquiries ...Ganga was called by him in FRONT of patients when she was on duty , taking an old person's name ...they all can testify that it was he who called Ganga . The old woman can testify she never fainted in the store room , why would she go there . Jagya with his doctor friends and Medical Council there threatening to close the hospital down if they don't take their false case back and charge Bala .
How much the people would have enjoyed it . How much if Jagya was shown as the angry young man . TRPS would surely be high .
But they r winding it in one episode
they only showed Jagya sadly saying had u listened to me and taken Jaipur job this would not have happened and that untimely Saaiyaan song . How odd this is ?
And directly they r jumping to sindoor scene which is a must in ALL serials and they don't dare to break this formula cliche
Also Jagya giving the sari for Teej . First and foremost it would have been better if it was given at next teej . But chalo , they hurried as Teej too is a formula puller . But they could have shown Jagya going to a shop and fumbling about the sari ...something . Kuch bhi nahi .
Also Jagya going on the 16th . They could have shown Jagya going to her college to see her off , picking her up after the first day , being concerned about she being ragged as she wore Rajasthani traditional wear , getting some normal clothes for her , instructing her on how to get thru it all ...NOTHING .
They could have shown so much and they showed NOTHING . It was as if they were disinterested in the very story that kept viewers glued to the show .
Instead each thing of Saanchi was shown with the minutest detail . And one of the leads ...Anandi was actually shown explaining HER POV to the viewers like her advocate which was shocking .
First time i felt as a viewer that some extra influence may be there for a side character or vamp to hog more screen space than the leads . And i hope mods don't close this down as CVs need to read this . Shiv gets barely 2 sentences , Anandi looks like a side associate of Saanchi , Ganga and Jagya r shown for 3 minutes .
Its all about her monologues , her phones , her tantrums this and that . R not CVs bored themselves of showing her constantly ?
A big šš¼ to CVs for rushing the JAGAN story .
