Is prabhudeva over rated???

He is a good dancer and decent actor but is he a good director???
I'm seeing so many tweets, posts on how Prabudeva changed salman and Akki carrier with RR and wanted
But both the films are remakes and are already super hits in respective languages... So how the hell Prabudeva gets the credit????
Not even one dialogue belongs to him...
The master mind behind chintata from RR is rajmouli
And all the popular dialogues from wanted are originally written by puri jaganath who directed original pokiri
So tell me y Prabudeva gets so much credit for both the films when he dint contribute anything original to them???
Frankly I think he is overrated...

No one thinks of him as Rajkumar Hirani or Vikramaditya Motwane.

Yes as director, for all the reasons you mentioned.
He worked with superstars like Salman, Akshay and it worked.

But when he worked with new comer in 'RV' I did not find anything impressive...

Pradhu Deva is overrated as hell. I hated Wanted and Rowdy Rathore. Both were pathetic movies...highly boring with OTT action and sick humour. He certainly deserves no credit for simply translating others works into Hindi(which I am sure was done by someone else too). IMO it was Dabangg which gave a new lease of life to Salman. If Wanted wasnt backed up by Dabangg he would have been back to his Veer days. As for RR it worked as it came when the masala genre was hot. Among the masala directors Rohit Shetty is better.
