Asad & Siddiqui Mansion.

Asad has been denied the right to a normal and happy childhood. As a 7 year old boy, his most beloved relation, his abbu was snatched from him. Where did he go? Siddiqui mansion. This incident made Asad go under a huge tranformation as a person. His beliefs, his opinions, his wishes, all changed. He neglected his heart to avoid any more of emotional tumoil. He was the only male in his house and had seen his Ammi work day night, so he'd taken up the responsibilty of providing them with everything, from the basic nesseccities to all the luxuries of the world. But in all this he had forgotten himself, until a typhoon came in and turned his world upside down.

Keeping fingers crossed and hoping that somehow someone will realize that Zoe's name was taken wrong during the nikaah and end all this misery for AsYa & AyRa too.

I agree that he goes and crosses boundaries he sets for himself for Zoya. And that's good to some extent. But it's also bad. I mean he was the one who stopped her from being forced into a nikaah. She even saved his cousin from the same fate, and almost died for it.

And today when she is being forced into it, HE is the one forcing her into. Even if it's temporarily. It's still wrong. I empathize with his feelings. His pain. But I cannot condone his behaviour. There were other ways to deal with this. Talking to Haseena, talking to Nikhat, talking to Farhaan, talking to Imraan. None of these were even considered. All because of what Haseena and the damned society will say.

Najma said it brilliantly: "We shouldn't care about what people say, only that Bhaijaan is okay."

Society's opinion should be low on the list, LAST on the list of things influencing life decisions. At least to me. This aspect of QH is really pissing me off.

I'm still pissed at both brothers. It doesn't matter to me that Asad will do all this for Zoya... What matters is that she is still the one who's made the ultimate sacrifice, not to mention that these boys are sort of playing 'pas the parcel' with her. But yeah, Asad's character has developed in that one way :)
