Why is Smitra sooo desperate...i hv never seen any mother in law sooo desperate to get daughter in law!

Sumitra is getting MBA graduated modern well todo family girl for her two time divorced son. Most of the mothers will be thrilled and that is why this desperation. In this day and age it id getting very hard to find girls. At least within my friends and family. Girls are in demand. I am actually surprised how Ira is actually desperate to give her daughter.

Agree with u'r points. Sumitra wants her son to get married by hook or crook becoz of the so called social stigma. In this process Shez least bothered about her son's happiness, he should get married that's it & if the girl is like Sanchi...educated,beautiful, with good family background & the icing...a VIRGIN, then better not loose her.

IMO, sumi never loved her biological kids jagya and suguna. She only loved anandi and was always busy parenting anandi. She devoted all her time for anandi and left jagyas parenting to DS. So, basically she doesnot have any motherly feeling for him. For sumi, jagya is a tool to keep her happy. She is more upset with jagya because of him she lost her lovely ladki anandi. She sees anandi's happiness in getting married jagya to sanchi. That's why soo much pressure for this marriage. On other hand, she is totally jealous of Ganga as she knows Ganga is more smart, beautiful, understanding than anandi and she cannot take it. Sumi loves only and only anandi and no one else for real. She is not a mother material at all as it is clear she didnot forgive jagya. If you really love someone you will forgive them too. But sumi never loved jagya like a son, so how will she forgive him ??

Sumitra was ok before sanchi poisoned her. Sumitra was never agianst ganga before that .

One poison drop will destroy the entire sweet kheer.

Sumitra must see what sanchi is to truly appreciate ganga. Appeasing sanchi and shekhars is not the way to protect anandi. Anandi can protect herself if she is truly evolved.

Sumitra is using anandi's happiness but actually she wants to get rid off ganga.

Sumitra's love for anandi is not unconditional. We have that Gehna episode to,prove that.
Sumitra loves Jagdish in her own way and that is quite trying to control him.

For me they made joke of Sumitra chacarter. I dont like to watch when is Sumitra or Saanchi scene.😡

I dont think Sumitra was ok wid Ganga befor Sanchi poisoned her mind. In the whole Singh family Sanchi saw only Sumi who had some problem wid Ganga so Sanchi hit the hot iron, and gave it a shape. Sumi had that insecurity from that day when Bhairaw compaired Ganga wid Anandi.
