I agree that Sandhya is unusually incompetent in the kitchen. I mean my 13 year old can do a 100 times better than her 😆. A lot of things are just common sense, which Sandhya apparently forgets she has when she is in the kitchen.

But I don't agree with Bhabo in blaming Sandhya, as if she is making mistakes on purpose. The spilled ghee was because of the mischief of some kids playing in the alley. And 7500 rupees is much smaller an amount than the 1 lakh worth of damage that Emily did. I don't recall Bhabo yelling at Emily as to why she was wasting Suraj's hard earned wages.

Also, things would have been a lot different if Bhabo had taken Sandhya under her wing and taught her cooking and other household duties properly, rather than just relegate her to dusting and other meaningless chores because she's a bookworm. Sandhya could have learned. She may have taken a little more time and required a little more patience than most, but she would have learned eventually. We can see that she learns easily enough from Suraj.
