Nikhil or the house??

Today I watched the episode finally...😉
Rambachan is much much more interested in the house and not once he asked Laajo about Nikhil...as a normal father in law who goes to his married daughter place asks her how she's doing and how is her hubby... but here Rambachan is only interested in the size of the house a bit awkward.

First of all Nikhil is only 21 and he does not work so Rambachan could have retained showing his enthusiasm for the house as he must know that the house is built by Nikhil parents...
I myself did not like him talking about the house only as if Laajo married the house this is where Barkha will get a point...
Now your say...Please.

He was talking too much of the house...n hw big it is and stuff...

I think he should hve about asked nikhil n how she is getting on with him. ...that was OTT...I just wonder wat will happen tomorrow. ...is barkha going to see him...n If she does...what will be laajo's reaction?

But think from his perspective. Anyone in his shoes would be mesmerized to see such a huge mansion, there are big houses but a few are as big as Nikhil's ( I feel the Bengali version must be more realistic as I can't comprehend Bengali director showing a big Bengali rich household in this kind of set up to be such a contemporary style). He has reacted very well, his whole body showed how amazed he is. He did ask towards the end as to where everyone is. I think he is very confident about Nikhil but not so about other elders in the house. So the reaction.

I don't agree a father is more concern about his daughter and son in law how they managing as a new couple. He knows well in what circumstance Nikhil married Lajjo , his parents were not present...
He did ask about the family of Nikhil but after asking about the house first. his daughter is not married to none of these two.
Normally a father or father of law ask his daughter how are you, everything is fIne? how is your hubby... then come anything else but here he was much more concern about the house and yes was mesmerised when Lajjo acted as if she's ruling on everything.

Exactly Hana this is how he should carried himself more concern about his children instead of how huge the house is to me he seems a bit greedy here.
