Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishen's escapades in the reality show Bigg Boss have got him a bagful of Bollywood films. Ravi is one of the many stars to have emerged out of the show, notwithstanding his performance in it.
Ravi has signed three Hindi films besides 1971 - his latest which is up for release. "Bigg Boss has changed everything for me. I already had a heroic image for audiences in UP and Bihar but after coming out of the Bigg Boss house, the craze has escalated. My career is looking up and I have been getting many encouraging offers" he adds. This time around however the Bhojpuri heartthrob wants to take it easy. "I don't want to lose what I have gained. It has been over 18 years in the industry and now I am getting my due."
Speaking about his films, Ravi says, "There is a story called Cocaine which Rahul Roy is directing. We are looking at the leading lady and Rahul wants Konkona Sen for the film". However Roy hasn't been reported to have spoken to her about it as yet. Kishen goes on, "G. P. Sippy productions are all set to make a comeback and they have signed me for debutante director Dayanand Rajan's venture. This film will go on the floors come May-end and will be a start-to-finish schedule in Canada. There is one more film I've signed with a very big producer but I can't talk about it. All I can say is that its an out-and-out comedy and a two-hero project having this comedy dancing star in lead. I have been sworn to secrecy or else I am dying to talk about it".
