Anandi has spoken too late as usual and that too in a defence mode coz Sanchi accused A of poisoning J against her. This disclosure therefore - will hurt A more than Sanchi.
Anandi has had lots of opportunities to update the family on the facts. What happened at the coffee shop was not a minor thing - it was a very major incident.
Any fiance- it they over hear such trashtalk for their family - by their fiancee in a public place - will be hard-pressed to break it off right away. It doesn't really matter if A was also there - J cud have been there by himself too, or with a couple of friends - Saanchi goofed big time !!!
But - irrespective - where Anandi slipped is - she shud have understood how serious this episode was and should not have waited to only talk to Shiv. She shud have right away called Shiv in the car and as soon as she came home - told Ira, Meenu and Daddu about what happened today - without waiting for Shiv.
Anandi made a huge mistake by deciding to deal with it on her own and thinking - maybe if she just wishes it away - it will obligingly go away.
She needed to have informed DS, Ira and Shiv about the dates right away too. Anandi needs to know what is a big issue and what is small. These were very big issues and she overstepped her authority. Now when it blasts in her face - maybe she'll sit and think and try to realize why this happened.
Sanchi's THOSE actions - that can have a huge repercussion on the family - shud have been brought to the family. Anandi failed to see and do this. She assumed Sanchi's whole responsibility for no reason. She needed to goto Sanchi's mother. There is telling tales and then there is hiding a wrong and hence aiding and abetting a wrong.
Wanting to give Sanchi more time to learn from her mistakes was not A's prerogative. A had no business trying to make Sanchi improve by shielding even her glaring mistakes from HER OWN family.
