As per SBS jodha will make a suicide attempt so this could be a possible reason
Today we saw Jalal gives an option to jodha to divorce him ...but she cant do so as, as per hindu tradition, marriage is a life time bandhan and as per SBS jodha throws color on mahamanga by mistake and jalal again gets angry with her and may be humiliates her ...so to end this double tortue, she attempts a suicide...honestly in my opinion jodha's character is too strong to take such a cowardly step.

i think jodha wants to do johar

jumping into fire

as she dont want to get separated from jalal

after throwing colors on MA, Jalal may get furious on jodha and he may blast up or insult jodha infront of all...

and he may ask her to go to Amer

jodha dont want khulla or talaq nor she wants to be his wife

so she may choose the rajputanis johar to save her dignity

I think she would try to commit sucide because if would be better to do Johar rather than go and live in Amer. I agree with @jeannie

You are right in saying Jodha's character does not look like coward to commit suicide but what makes her take that action is still unknown!
