"Hi Rhea!"
Mayank tapped on a girl's shoulder who was wearig a bright yellow off shoulder sundress showing er flawless skin...putting a lot of makeup on it. Rhea turned back and gave a big smile seeing Mayank and was about to hug him but couldn't as Mayank stopped her raising his hands infront of her stopping her...his face stiff as rock and one of hands were still enterwin with Nupur.
Mayank warned her :Don't you dare Ms. Raichand"
Rhea and Nupur looked at Mayank with wide eyes...Nupur thought he would talk to this girl in the sweetest manner as possible but no he was warning her rather,she wondered what he is upto now.
"Mayank, yeh tum kaisi baatein kar rahe ho..Mayank mein Rhea hoon bhool gaye kya...tum apni Rhea ko..? Main tumse maafi maang chuki hoon and we did hug each other yesterday evening.Remember..", Rhea said.
Mayank sarcastically laughed. "Mein kuch bhi nahi bhoolta Miss Raichand specially un logo ko who betray me and uses my trust...By the way I am not here to have a chit-chat with you ...Well Rhea, iss ladki se nahi milna chahogi?" he said pointing at Nupur...completely changing the topic.
Rhea confusedly looked at Nupur who rolled eyes at her...She haven't noticed that a girl was standing beside him..she looks down to see their hands were enterwin and the girl was having mehendi on her hands may be she is getting married but what's her point of coming here and that too with Mayank.
"Yeh kaun hai Mayank?"She questioned him unknown of the reality which is going to be revealed infront of her soon.
Mayank leaved her hand which he had hold for a long and placed his arms around Nupur's shoulders and proudly smiling, he said, "Rhea, meet my fiancee Nupur Bhushan."...it seems he was slapping on her face not physically but virtually...
"Mayank, tumne engagement kar liya?", Rhea asked in astonishment...she thought Mayank would be still waiting for her..but here she got the biggest breaking news that he is enagaged.
"Kyun? Nahi kar sakta kya?", Mayank questioned back and taunted her saying, "Tumhe kya laga? Tum mujhe kisi aur ke liye chod kar chali jaayogi aur main tumhari yaad mein rotaa rahunga? NEVER!"
Silence prevailed between the three for a moment, which was soon broken by Mayank himself. He looked at Nupur fully ignring that Rhea is standing infront of him and said, "Nupur, yeh hai Rhea Raichand, my ex-girlfriend, jisse main bohot pyaar tha, shayad ab bhi karta hoon. After all, she's my first love. Par iss ne kabhi mere pyaar ki kadar nahi ki.Isne mujhe kabhi pyar hi nahi kiya...aur mujhe kisi aur paisewale ke liye mujhe chod kar chali gayi...aur ab ho sakta hian ki usne isse chod diya hoga aur ye fir mere pass laut ker aa gayi..."
Nupur could see sincerity and honesty in his teary eyes.She could see the pain he has gone through due to this heart break, but somewhere she feared yet her heart was telling her to console him...she could see his pain but with that she can't neglect hers,She agreed that Mayank was get weaken seeing his love infront of him but still it pinches that he had ignored his present for his past who had ditched him.
"I love u Mayank. Please meri galti ki itni badi sazaa mat do.", Rhea requested.
Mayank turned his face back to Rhea and said, "Main sirf tumhe apne fiancee se milne ke liye bulaaya tha.. now you can go."
Rhea tried to protest : Mayank--"
"Leave right now.", Mayank coldly said to Rhea,seeing that he is not ready to listen her she left from there.
Rhea left from there. Mayank came in front of Nupur, held her arms as tight as he can and looked intensely in her eyes.
"Nupur, tum soch rahi hogi ki main tumhe yaha kyu le aaya...Na jaane apne mann kesi image bana li hogi tumne Nupur... Well, main sirf yehi chahta tha ki tum meri zindagi ki sacchai jaano aur future mein humare beech koi misunderstandings naa ho. Haan yeh sach hai ki Rhea ke liye mere maan mein thodi si jagaah hai and I can't help it cuz dil to dil iss per kisi ka zor nahi khud ka bhi zor nahi...lekin usne jo mere saath jo kiya, uske baad I can't stay with her.tute hue dil mein ghar nahi basta.. Restaurant mein main kamzor padh gaya tha, uske liye mujhe maaf kardo...mein jaanta hoon mujhe maafi milna bahut mushkil hain fir bhi Please forgive me... I promise that I won't get weak and will keep you happy. Marry me please...I am not saying for the sake of our families reputation or somthing but this time I really want my happiness..want your happiness..Please Nupur..tum aayi ho..ek nayi hope leker aayi ho meri life mein..Please Marry me Nupur..."
Nupur stepped back and gazed at Mayank. Everything he had said just now was true, she knew as eyes never lie. No matter how much one tries to hide his/her feelings, his/her eyes always speak everything, and surely Mayank was honest. She was sure of it!
After a lot of thinking, Nupur asked Mayank helplessly, "Mayank, tumhi bataao.. Yeh jaante huye ki tum kisi aur se pyaar karte ho, main tumse shaadi karlu? Kaise?Agar tum meri jagah hote to kerte..."
Mayank had no answer. He actually never thought of this answer...it's true if he would have been at her place he would have freed her from this relation and would have allowed her to live her life with her love...
After a pauseNupur smiled. "Koi jawaab nahi hai, right? Pata tha mujhe."
Mayank cut her in between :Nupur-"
Nupur: Mayank, tum aur mein hum dono ye baat jaante hain ki humara rishta ek compromise se kam nahi hain...mein tumse shaadi nahi kerne waali thi but tumhari ye sacchai jaane ke baad ki jisse tumne pyar kiya vo tumhe chod ker chali gayi...ye sach hain ki tum ab uske saath nahi reh sakte...mein iske liye tumhe maaf kerti hoon..aur thik hain mein tumse shaadi karungi,ye shaadi meri Maa ka sapna hain..isliye main tumse shaadi karungi."
As Nupur suddenly said that, Mayank grinned.
"Par don't think that tumhare liye maine haan ki hai. Tumne Rhea se rishta tod diya but you still love her..Tum soch bhi sakte ki iss khayal ke saath tumhare saath rehna ki mera pati mujhse nahi kisi aur se pyar karta hain bahut dard hota hain Mayank..lekin still I am ready to give you chance. Anjaane mein ho ya jaan bujke, you have hurt me. Par phir bhi I'll marry you, just because I want my family to be happy. I know ki meri shaadi tutne se maa ko kitni taqleef hogi, issi liye mera jawaab haan hai...but aage ka mujhe nahi pata ki humare is rishte ka kya hone wala hain,shayd ye ab ek compromise bann ker hi reh jaayega.."
"Nupur, bohot jald yeh shaadi tumhari zindagi ki sabse badi khushi ban jaayegi. I promise!I prove to be good husband to you..", Mayank said.
Without saying anything, Nupur left the place. "Nupur, I hope ki hum dono ki shaadi humari life mein khushiya le aaye. Humare beech mein pyaar zarur nahi hai par phir bhi ek strange connection hai humare beech. Pata nahi kya, par kuch toh zarur hai...aur ye ye strange connection hi hume pass laayega..Patana nahi kya..but mein mein itna jaanta hoon ki mein tumhe dhoka nahi doonga..tumhara saath nahi chodunga.."
He made this decision to him self and went to drove back to his office..
