Ranveer Singh: Deepika has better chemistry with me than with Ranbir
Actor Ranveer Singh claimed that his chemistry with Deepika Padukone is hotter than what she shared with another co-star"her exboyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
When Deepika was asked with whom she shares better chemistry - Ranbir or Ranveer, the latter quipped: "Mere saath (with me)". Quiz the man, however, and he calls it "a joke", but not before offering an explanation. "I feel that Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was different. The chemistry between Ranbir and Deepika was friendly, but in Ramleela, our chemistry is that of lovers. In that film, they played friends who found love, but we are hardcore lovers," he says.
And is there any truth at all to the conjectures of them being in a relationship? "No, it's not true," says Ranveer, adding that that Deepika will give him a shave before he starts his next film. "I'm starting a new movie in October. I'm trying to work out dates, so that I can get my Leela to shave off my moustache and beard. It's only fitting that Deepika does it," he says.
News of Ranbir Kapoor and director Imtiaz Ali getting together for an encore to Rockstar has been doing the rounds for some time now.
