The writers have completely messed up the drama by getting Ayaan and Zoya married. The marriage itself makes no logical sense, I mean who in the right mind wouldn't realize they're getting married while saying "qubool hai". No matter what kind of tensed situation you might be in, I think everyone would be able to tell that in fact they are getting married. On top of it, technically this marriage isn't even considered a marriage if you go by actual Islamic laws. A marriage done without two people's consent and knowledge isn't considered a marriage. Zoya nor Ayaan consent this marriage from their heart.
I don't want to even watch the show anymore at this point. The show was by far presenting a South Asian Muslim society/lifestyle pretty well until this incident. How do people just accidentally marry each other while running away from goons. There is no logic in the show at this point. Just mockery of Islamic marriages.
