"Joy and sorrow are inseparable... Together they come, and when one sits alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed."
Gibran says it so beautifully

Very emotional post Doc Babs.

When God closes one door he opens a window somewhere .. But try as I might .. There is a part in me that does not allow me to reach out to the window

Nice thoughtful post and thanks for treating those impostors just the same...

There is a buddhist saying that says,

"Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift, which is why it is called the present. What the caterpillar perceives is the end; to the butterfly is just the beginning.
Everything that has a beginning has an ending. Make your peace with that and all will be well"

and

I would like to put in Samuel Butler's words:

"I fall asleep in the full and certain hope
That my slumber shall not be broken;
And that, though I be all-forgetting,
Yet shall I not be all-forgotten,
But continue that life in the thoughts and deeds
of those I have loved."

and love every one around you...

And "Verily you are suspended like scales between your sorrow and your joy. Only when you are empty are you at standstill and balanced. When the treasure-keeper lifts you to weigh his gold and his silver, needs must your joy or your sorrow rise or fall."

👏
Very thoughtful and very emotional post Doc. Babs. Death is never easy to overcome. It leaves behind a grief so profound. But by being together, supporting each other, can help us tolerate the loss, the void left behind by that one person.

Yes, when we hear about the death of someone we know the first thing that crosses our mind is regret, regret that maybe we did not do enough or spend enough time with that person. but you are right, in the midst of all the mental turmoil we should not forget those who are still there around us, do what we can for them.

Very emotional post Doc
Yes we need the help of others when we are in trouble.
We need a shoulder to keep our tired heads.
I learn the life after my mother expired.
No of people came to wipe our tears but what i finally realize is that i my self should stand strongly.
But in IF i found so many people who share their love towards us. It's a blessing for me
