Very true! I too thought at the onset of this show that he would be right there supporting him like he does when Barka keeps blaming him for Akash's death but nope, he hasn't done a bit of that. He's been pretty useless backing either Nikhil or Barka up. He should take a stand and stick with it...this is probably why his wife and her family seem to run his household. The only good thing to come from him (other than him defending Nikhil about he Akash accident) was at least admitting to Lajjo that what they were doing was wrong (when he, Barka and her mom brought the "gifts" before she was supposed to be returned to the village).

That could explain it, I also find the rest of his paternal side of the family to be more caring/understanding in nature (his grandfather, chacha, bhua and of course his cousing Gunja), just his "immediate" family sucks.🤢

@bold: Perhaps you are correct but I still think he won't be able to put his foot down where his wife and MIL are concerned.

@bold: I've thought that too but I guess only time will tell which way he'll end up swinging. I can only hope that in the long run he will support Nikhil and his decision and defend both from Barka!


@bold: I've been wondering the same myself and am truly looking forward to that information being divulged to the viewers. Perhaps Mami ji will tell Lajjo herself as I believe she will be another person that Lajjo will be able to turn too (not that she has much sway in this household but at least to lend a sympathetic ear).

gunga is a sensible girl and her father too .

ayesha is selfish she want's is her marriage should move smoothly she doesn't care about other things .

barkha and her mom is ego'ist and high society pro emotion,relationship matter least for them social status matters most for them .

barkha hubby nikhil's dad is spineless individual who has no brain of his own he is puppet to burkha (joru ka ghulam types)
