How is Nikhil so different???

How is Nikhil so different from the rest of his family? I would have thought that at least Inder would have been on his side and would also think about Lajjo as well but he like his wife and daughter seem to be more worried about their social status and reputation then all else. I truly thought from the on set of this show that Inder, Gunja and Nikhil's chacha would all be supporting Lakhil to some extent so that is why Inder's response is so puzzling to me but at least he's not as vocal as Barka and Aisha in his desire to get rid of Lajjo😆 and at least he knows that what they are trying to do to her is wrong other than that the only people I can think that would be on Lajjo's side at this given moment of time is of course Gunja and her dad but I'm just worried if they say something they might be asked to butt out...

That's exactly it, if Nikhil's Chacha and Gunja take Laakhil's side they will be told to stay out of it, especially the situation is that Nikhil doesn't love Laajo, if they were staying in one room and loved up, it would have been an easier situation, for them to say look they are going everywhere together and you guys haven't accepted her and done the introductions everyone is asking in our society, but Nikhil hasn't fully accepted her either, that's why Ayesha said today for him to share a room with his wife, if he can't do that then how can he expect others to share their lives with her. It was a good dialogue lets see if he is going to move into that spare bedroom now,..but I highly doubt it. unless Sid is around then she will need a guard.

@bold: I fully agree and that was an awesome come back for Aisha! Something Nikhil couldn't refute at all other than to tell his Di to Shut Up😆. I can only assume that eventually they will share a room as from the promo (the one prior to the show airing with Lajjo trying out the necklace that was meant for Ishaana) it looked like they did.😉

Yes, I have the feeling that they (Gunja and her dad) will be told to mind their own business if they side with Lakhil, to bad the same can't be said to Nani and Mama ji too and yes it will definitely help once Nikhil accepts her fully as his wife (or at least under pretense for the rest of the family)

i thought that atleast his father will try to help him...but now I dont think that will happen...n yh gunja n her dad will be told to stay out...

The way Nikhil's mother Barkha treats him from the childhood, Nikhil has become introvert and he understands others feelings, that is the reason he is different from others. I like the actor playing Nikhil, he looks sad and depressed which is required.

For me i like him only because though he's caught amidst such a big problem Ishana- laajo- his family he does not drink or cry.

I think Inder is kind-hearted person unlike his wife. Right now, he is in a shock..he needs sometime to get over it, sit down and think things over. He might become Laajo's supporters later on. But right now, from which angle does this marriage look right? He is just concerned for his son, I feel, or he is rather confused.
