I don't know much about Isamic Wedding Rituals, but I do remember attending my friend's Nikah many years back...and I am pretty sure, she had to say 'Haan' three times...and then one of her cousins told me that the wedding is only valid when both the bride and groom give their full consent thrice and also there have to be witness to the wedding!
Then there is no way that Ayan and Zoya's wedding is valid from any angle!😕
I can understand if Muslim on the forum are upset with what is being showed...anyone would be upset if their religion is distorted or shown in a way that is completely false! Same is the case with Jodha Akbar...they are portraying both the Mughals and the Rajputs in a very negative light!

If it would have been a non-muslim instead of Gul, one could still understand the false or incorrect portrayal...but Gul Khan is a muslim herself...how can she show stuff that never even exists in her religion?

PS: But if Asad tries to force Zoya to accept the wedding, I think I will not bash him! Zoya deserves this punishment...for always trying to act so smart and never listen to Asad, even when she knows in her heart that he is correct most of the times!
